I know it sounds silly, but I actually like Rolling Rock. Its light, not too filling, and its an American classic. But a few years back I ate at a restaurant in Rhode Island that had its own in-house brewery and I had a beer called a Funky Monk. It was the best I ever had and actually had an almost fruity taste to it, but it was also very heavy and filling. I have never had one since, because it is unique only to that establishment. A pity. Anyone else?

Sam Adams is my favorite American beer. And I like just about anything German.

Samuel Adams Latitude 48 IPA....Good, strong, but not over-the-top like other IPAs.
Shiner Bock...Rich, and goes well with many meals.
For everyday drinking, I go for Coors Light...20 bucks for 30 cans, and I can drink a few with no problem.

Paulaner Hefeweizen. It's rich in flavor and dark, but it's very smooth. I also like Lagunitas IPA.
But as far as the macro stuff goes, me gusta el Miller High Life.

Corona or San Miguel for me. But if I'm at the pub and trying to save money I'll usually go for a pint of Stella or something because well... you get a pint for the same price as a bottle round here.
Classy lady, I am.

I like a nice, skanky Heineken myself.
Thing is, I like them too much. If I don't just grab a sixer or two deuces or something, I will turn myself into applesauce.

This is my kinda thread right here!!!!! St Bernardus Abt 12: A Belgian Quad that is 10% ABV. Fantastic beer that tastes just right at about 40 degrees. I have been able to find it just about everywhere too. Here is its link on BeerAdvocate: linkGoose Island's Bourbon County Brand Stout: An imperial stout that is aged in bourbon barrels. The result is a thick alcoholic monster that's north of 14% ABV. Phenominal beer that is only released seasonally and does not stay on shelves long. I have ONE left in my fridge. Link on BeerAdvocate: linkSouthern Tier's Choklat: Another Imperial stout that tastes like chocolate milk. Link on BeerAdvocate: linkThis thread is making me thirsty!

I agree with every single thing said here. Though I must confess, I prefer Rochefort 10 to St. Bernardus 12. Both kick ass, though. PS: Have you ever had any of the Bourbon County variants before? The Bourbon County barleywine released this year was amazing, and the Bourbon County Coffee Stout is among my favorite beers of all time.

Red Stripe, Stella Artois, Yards IPA and Brooklyn Lager are all in the mix but I always go back to The Champagne of Beers, Miller High Life.

My dad always had Stella in the fridge when I was growing up so that has been pretty much my beer of choice for much of the time I've been able to drink.
