I was hoping the lights would come back on & Cena would have vanished. That would've made it much better than them appearing in the ring & beating him down.
We would find out tonight that Cena was kidnapped when the lights were out. We're shown a video of Cena tied up & being tortured by the Wyatt's, & this continues all night. One last video shows Cena being stuffed inside an old Winnebago (I assume that's how the Wyatt's travel) & he isn't seen again till next week. He eventually manages to escape a broken & bloody mess & hobbles out into the darkness. The following week Cena shows up on Raw, mysteriously healed, & we march along to WrestleMania.

Considering we used to have Undertaker and Kane summoning lightning bolts in between blaming each other for killing their parents, teleporting hillbillies doesn't seem that far fetched. I have to admit, 'teleporting hillbillies' is not a phrase I thought I'd ever read So you're finally admitting that you lied and didn't really read my screenplay? |

So Kane is a demon who can summon fire from the ringposts but this bothers you. Of course it's all completely ridiculous in the end but I kinda get it. Wyatt is a cult leader. His abilities are mind control and speaking in metaphors to f*** with his opponent's heads. His persona is all kinds of things but he himself is not some sort of supernatural being. He made two shithouse crazy drifters believe he was some kind of shaman or a genius or whatever but the point is that he's a fraud. A very convincing, scary ass dude but still a fraud. So should he really just appear in a cage all of a sudden? It just doesn't make any sense in this world that they established. It misses the whole point of his character. Now Kane is an eternally pissed off, demented dude that can set shit on fire out of sheer rage. His whole family is a freak show. Jesus Christ, Wrestling is nutty as hell. |
