So, for some reason, all of The Rock's singing in the Hollywood Rock Concert in 2003 is cut out.
He disses Sacramento and it cuts straight to Austin and Hurricane getting involved.

All four of "The Rock Concert" segments (March 2003, April 2003, March 2012, January 2013) as well as Rock and Austin singing on the Nov. 12, 2001 Raw have been edited to remove the songs.

The ending pin angle of hell in a cell 2016 Charlotte vs Sasha has been changed because, well, it's obvious, but regardless the angle was changed from the original

The June 6, 2000 episode of ECW on TNN has Paul E's famous shoot, but not in the way it aired on tv. The TNN version muted the audio and played a "humorous" disclaimer during the promo. The version of Peacock/Network just has the promo uncensored, but no disclaimer. Here's a recreation that does include the audio and the disclaimer: www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_PodMVN3Ew

Survivor Series 2002 is now several minutes shorter on WWE Network than on Peacock. Some of that is due to Saliva's live performance of "Always" being edited out after the opening six-man match. Oddly, the studio version of the song is still heard all over the show, including in the video package before the main event.

The Rock singing "New York, New York" during his backstage promo at Survivor Series 2011 has been removed. I checked the WWE Home Video release of the show, and it was not edited there.

This one is very odd. On the Dec. 31, 1999 episode of ECW on TNN, Mike Awesome's "Awesome Bomb" theme has been dubbed in after his match even though it really was his theme that night. The footage is replayed at the start of the Jan. 7, 2000 episode with the original audio intact. What makes it noticeable is that Stephen DeAngelis announcing Awesome as the winner is drowned out in the edited version.

Clash of the Champions 4 is missing a ringside interview with Sting, apparently due to his theme music playing during it even though the same theme is heard unedited on Clash 1 and many episodes of World Championship Wrestling. The segment right after the on camera with Tony Schiavone and Lex Luger before the Dusty Rhodes vs. Animal match.

I am surprised in the latest episodes of Superstars they have not edit out the Warrior University promos.

I just turned on Royal Rumble 93. Something was clearly edited out of the opening dialogue between Heenan and Gorilla. They phased Gorilla out mid sentence and cut straight to the Beverly Brothers entrance. It also seemed like they edited some of the commentary out during the Beverly's entrance as well.

The Network version keeps an edit done for the 2007 DVD release of the show. They took the audio of the Beverlys' entrance from the 1992 Rumble (including Howard Finkel's intro minus him mentioning The Genius and minus the commentary) and placed it into the 1993 footage. You can even hear the cowbell that a fan at the 1992 Rumble was ringing. Heenan and Monsoon are cut off early because, unedited, the theme that got removed started playing before they were finished. The missing part of the intro is just Monsoon saying "Who cares?!" in response to Heenan mentioning The Narcissist, then pitching to Finkel. It's not clear why the edit even happened because both Beverly Bros. themes are owned by WWE. Their second theme, the one cut out here, is only edited out on this show and no others.

That seems like so much unnecessary work for a match nobody remembers. I didn't know there was more than one theme for the Beverly's, it always sounded the same to me. For what it's worth it's one of those theme's that has lived in my head for the last 30 years for reasons I can't explain LOL Were there any other edits from the 93 Rumble that I didn't catch? There's a highlight video at the end that has a confrontation between Bret and Yokozuna. Bret's clearly talking in the video but there's music dubbed over it. Not sure if that's the same music that was on the video originally or dubbed over. Seems very sloppily dubbed over.

Again, it was an edit made in 2007. The theme is used on other shows all over the Network and was even restored to the end of the 1994 Rumble after it was replaced on the DVD version.

I have no recollection of that first Beverly's theme. That second one is the one that has haunted me for years lol So was the Bret/Yoko confrontation always dubbed over? Even with the original WrestleMania theme? Thank you for all the information.

The confrontation played as you heard audio of Bobby Heenan in the booth saying (not direct quotes) "Are we still on? Hello? Are we on? Monsoon....." He was clearly doing schtick, but it was strangely placed.

My buddy and I used to trade tapes so frequently that I ended up never getting this one or Rumble 89 back. In fairness I ended up with his WrestleMania 3 and 4, so I suppose it was a wash LOL

The June 22, 1996 Superstars episode has the Smoking Gunns promo from the below video but cuts the Godwinns promo that followed it because at the end, they started singing "Don't Go Messin' with a Country Boy." www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uix6pFy-2KI

Pretty sure that was a Jim Johnston original.
