So they are edited out the sound a like theme music, but how come so far they have kept Eddie Gurrero's heel WCW music. That theme sounds a lot like "Low Rider". I heard that but I don't hear the similarities myself. It's mainly the horns that are Low Rider, it's a slowed-down version. The track shares more similarities with another of War's songs, the Cisco Kid.

Mabel's entrance seems to have been removed from the Apr. 16, Apr. 30, and May 14, 1994 Superstars episodes while his post-match celebration is intact. The only reason that comes to mind is Oscar saying "Whoomp, There It Is" during the pre-match rap, and some editor decided to cut it to be safe. These edits were not continued in the recent drop of Superstars shows from September-November 1994. The Oct. 1 and Oct. 29 episodes have Mabel's entrances intact.

Apparently Bill Dundee attacking Bob Armstrong with a trash can was edited out of a mid-80s episode of World Championship Wrestling.

Apparently Bill Dundee attacking Bob Armstrong with a trash can was edited out of a mid-80s episode of World Championship Wrestling. A good 20-30 minutes of that episode (Nov. 29, 1986) is missing. They put up the WWE Classics On Demand version, which went to a commercial break at one point, then resumed several segments later. Here's the episode line up with the missing parts in bold. World Championship Wrestling 11/29/86 David & Tony announce the Bunkhouse Stampede begins on Monday Jimmy Garvin w/ Precious interview Bill Dundee vs. Alan Martin Jim Cornette & The Midnight Express interview Midnight Express vs. The Mulkeys Brad Armstrong interview (introduced his dad..Bullit Bob Armstrong) The Barbarian vs. Paul Garner Tim Horner vs. Art Pritts The Kansas Jayhawks interview Video of Nelson Royal sitting around the campfire promoting the Bunkhouse Stampede Don Kernodle vs. Randy Barber Rock n Roll Express interview (discuss their injuries) Bob Armstrong interview (is beat down by Garvin & Dundee) Jimmy Garvin vs. Clement Fields Dundee & Garvin post match interview Shaska Whatley vs. Vernon Deaton Sam Houston Post Starrcade interview Tony & David announce that Barry Windham is coming to JCP Ricky Lee Jones vs. Charlie Freeman Starrcade 86 Highlight package
Jim Cornette interview The Kansas Jayhawks vs. Phil Brown & Bill Tabb The Armstrong’s challenge Dundee & Garvin Bob & Brad Armstrong vs. Jimmy Garvin & Bill Dundee The Armstrong’s post match interview The Jan. 25, 1999 Raw aired that way on COD as well, causing two matches to be lost (including Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett becoming tag team champions), but WWE Network and Peacock have the full episode.

On the 11/22/2021 episode of Raw, the fan attack on Seth Rollins has been removed to the point that they have trimmed down the shot of Finn Balor laying in the ring after they cut away from it. On the live show, after they realized what was happening with Rollins, they cut to Balor for several seconds before going to a replay. On the archive version, the shot of Balor before the replay is barely even there.

On the Dec. 1994 and Jan. 1995 Superstars episodes, there is no sign of any of the Pamela Anderson Royal Rumble ads except for the quick shot of her on the beach at the start of each "Royal Rumble Report" segment.
On the Dec. 3, 1994 episode of Superstars, a segment with footage of Bull Nakano beating Alundra Blayze for the women's title followed by a brief sitdown interview with Blayze is missing.

On ECW Guilty As Charged 1999, a little bit of the start of Rob Van Dam vs. Lance Storm is missing. Right after Joey Styles says they're "almost jabbing at each other," there's a jump cut where the referee is suddenly standing in a different corner of the ring. A little over a minute of footage is not shown.

The Randy Savage video on the Jul. 11, 1992 Superstars episode has been edited.
- Clips of Savage appearing on various TV shows have been removed. - The version of "Pomp and Circumstance" originally used in the video has been replaced with the Jim Johnston composition that I believe debuted in 2009 when WWE released their first Savage DVD set.

On the MSG shows from 4/22/85, 5/20/85 and 6/21/85, Hulk Hogan's entrance is edited out.

Which version did they use before? Pre-1988 version? (doubt it) 1988-94 version? (sounded more like an in house, and yes, Johnston version. Eventually the first version to loop and not have a conclusion)

He used the Rock 'N Wrestling intro in the fall of 1985 briefly before using Real American at the end of the year.

How do we know if Johnston was attributed to it? Or not? Either way, that version always sounded like a polished WWF version, rather than a public domain record or something. Same with the "King" music. Think they re-recorded that in 1988 or 1989 too.

The Jun. 17, 1995 Superstars episode is missing Jeff Jarrett's entrance for some reason. There was a "promotional consideration" spot between his entrance and the start of the match, but those are usually just cut with a fade to black. This time, what was happening before the spot aired got cut, too.
The Aug. 5, 1995 episode is missing Dok Hendrix interviewing King Mabel, plus a segment after Shawn Michaels vs. Skip where Michaels and Howard Finkel shill merchandise.

Yeah I wouldn't want to acknowledge King Mabel either. The other one strikes of the Network's "Remove the baby with the bathwater" strategy of just cutting entire segments with or near unauthorized music and such.

There was nothing about Jarrett's entrance that needed removing because his theme music is fine. It plays after the match with no editing. It's either a mistake or they just got lazy and decided to just skip to the match starting after the cut "promotion consideration" part.

What I meant was, they just chopped his entrance to get rid of the promotional considerations. Normally, including in this very batch of episodes, they just cut those spots without altering anything else. Waylon Mercy's match on the July 15 episode is a good example. They show his entrance, there's a fade to black right before the "promotional consideration paid for by the following" soundbite, then the show resumes. They didn't just cut his entrance entirely like they did Jarrett's.
