I learned it was okay in 1992 to imply someone was gay on commentary.

"FAGGOT" chants were very prevalent in WCW in 1997 (Syxx would get them for the bronco buster, Alex Wright for his dance), and it's always unsettling. I just watched a 1990 PPV (either Great American Bash or Halloween Havoc) and there were loud 'Faggot!' chants directed at the Freebirds. It may have been 'Freebirds are Faggots!' I've gone through quite a few late '80s/early '90s NWA/WCW PPVs and I have noticed some anti-gay chants and outbursts from fans. During GAB, I think there also chants of "Michael Haye's a bitch" too. Pretty good event I think overall.

WWE had some 'smart' signs in 1993. On the August 16 Raw, when Money Inc. are being interviewed in the ring, there was a sign clearly visible in front of the hard camera that said: 'Isn't Rotunda Stupid?' Of course Rotunda had already had a lot of success under his real name in the 1980s. I was just a kid and I knew IRS was Rotunda. I went to a house show when the IRS character was new and I remember an obnoxious fan yelling, "Mike Rotunda! It's Mike Rotunda!" God, I hope nothing like that happens to any of his kids.

War Games matches are completely overrated. Dean Malenko was the f***ing man in WCW and he should have gotten a shot at the top title. He could believably beat anyone on the roster and the fans loved him. The pop for when he takes off the Ciclope mask to return to beat Jericho is still one of the biggest pops for anyone I've seen, it's crazy. When was that?

They could have used the Freebirds theme from the Legends of Wrestlemania game instead rather than just generic southern rock! Glad someone besides me remembers that theme. I use it for one of my CAWs.

Hacksaw Duggan wasn't half bad as a color commentator during the opening match of Wrestlemania VII. I wonder why he wasn't used more in that capacity?

Watching WM 12, and I'm pretty sure it's Michael Cole narrating the video package for the Main Event. Is this a re-dub, or did he start in some capacities sooner than '97?

If you fall asleep watching WWE Network, Jim Cornette may enter your dreams. (This happened to me last night and it was horrifying)

I learned that the Chamber of Horrors match at Halloween Havoc '91 is still one of my favorite matches ever. It's so goddamn goofy, but oh so much cheesy fun. Plus, I'll always remember watching it as a kid and thinking I'd just watched my first live execution.

I learned that for some reason at December In Your House 95 Buddy Landel basically imitated Ric Flair against Ahmed Johnson in a squash match for some reason.

Hulk Hogans work in 2002 was awful but he was still over as rover.
A modern day WWE audience would not have responded so positively even with the nostalgia of Hogan, he looked f***ing dreadful and no one would buy someone working that slow and soft nowadays.

Gorilla Monsoon and Ken Resnick both love to crap on slow-counting referees.
Brutus Beefcake was listed at anywhere between 260-275 pounds during his early years, when he looks no bigger than maybe 250. SD Jones, OTOH, was listed at 251, while Monsoon insisted "He's gotta be around that 300 pound mark."
Resnick asked if Gorilla ever prolonged a match (like Valentine) because he wanted to try out some new moves. "Absolutely not! You aren't paid by the minute in that squared circle."
We learned during his squash match victory, Greg Valentine ended Chief Jay Strongbow's career, yet there's Jay participating in the $50,000 tag-team battle royal. Ken says that the prize money was enough to bring Jay out of retirement. Gorilla wondered if the winner would be in line for a Tag-Title opportunity, then Ken noticed then-champions British Bulldogs were in it as well.
WWE calls it the "Sam Houston Coliseum" show, while Gorilla keeps telling us "here at the Summit in Houston". I'm confused.

Al Show defeated Sgt Slaughter in a bootcamp match on RAW. The next week he pinned Vader. WTF!!!!! ? I don't remember this at all. Kinda crazy the next match features both Droz & D'Lo Brown.
