Not many just get pro wrestling like Terry Funk did. Terry Funk is awesome. I wish he'd talk a little louder, but otherwise, I could hardly find fault on the guy.

By the time he came to WWF, yeah, he was definitely on the downswing. By that point he was Junk Food Dog. Still had a ton of charisma, though. He was over as hell for 85-86 he was the number 2 face in the WWF.

Clash Of The Champions VII: Guts And Glory was in the transition of it being the NWA and becoming WCW Apparently someone in the production truck forgot to type out the wrestlers names. as 3 so far in a row have had blank nameplates lol.

I learned that The Heavenly Bodies were originally comprised of Dr. Tom and "Sweet" Stan Lane before Lane retired and was replaced by "Gigolo" Jimmy Del Rey. Also, in WCW, they came out to a Jimmy Hart Version of "Owner Of A Lonely Heart" *YES ORCHESTRA HIT*.

Road Dogg beat X-Pac with a piledriver from at least the middle turnbuckle (they said it was from the top, but it didn't really look like it, to me) at In Your House 2.

Jeff Jarrett...honestly, one of my favorite wrestlers of all time, especially in the WWF. Every time his music hits on an old show I say YES out loud and I am glued to the screen and smiling my ass off. What a fantastic heel.

Currently watching this Cribs with Jerry Lawler and I guess CM Punk's hate for him stems from his Coca-Cola house.

Any particular era of Jarrett's work stand out from the others, at least in your opinion? I'm more partial to the Attitude Era-WCW Chosen One Jarrett as opposed to Double J, personally, but I can see why someone would be really be high on his earlier work. And Aztec Warrior Jarrett will forever be my favorite awful attire.

I like 1995 and 1998. 95 because he was a bright spot amongst the shit roster, had an IC title reign and was working with guys like Shawn and Razor. Then 1998, after the NWA champ Aztec Warrior phase, he went back to straight on Double J, but now with Robert Fuller telling us how awesome he is everytime he comes out? Perfect. One of the funnniest things I've ever seen in wrestling at WM 14, after Gennifer Flowers admits that Double J is great, he goes into his strut as the Nation of Domination theme plays, it's so priceless. As for the Cho-Cho-Chosen One Jarrett, or the post-haircut days with Southern Justice, doesn't do it for me so much. Double J, though? I love it.

As for the Cho-Cho-Chosen One Jarrett, or the post-haircut days with Southern Justice, doesn't do it for me so much. Double J, though? I love it. His 98 run was so bizarre, because he seemed like the last relic from the now played out New Generation, and you could sense how outdated the gimmick was. However, it was certainly not stale or boring by any means, because Jarrett and Col Parker seem to be embracing the fact that they are the square peg in the round hole and seemed to have a ton of fun doing it. I was drawn to Attitude Era/Chosen One Jarrett because it almost seemed like Jarrett woke up one day (with a lot less hair thanks to X-Pac) and realized that the Attitude Era was passing him by, so he grabbed his 6000 guitars and broke every single one of them across anyone who got into his path. It seemed sensible at first that he would target fan favorites like DX. But then he seemed to enjoy it a little bit more, so he set the bar down, attacking celebrities, women, and geriatric legends like Moolah and Mae Young. During this time, HHH was rising to the top as a merciless, cold-harded killer who didn't care what he did to get to the top. Jarrett was the same way, except his motivation was less about getting to the top and more about finding even more hapless victims and coronating them with a six string crown, just for the sake of doing it. I wish they hadn't gone complete chauvinistic prick, but I would have love to see him go after one of Al Snow's imaginary friends (imagine him hitting Pepper with a guitar).

That's a really interesting take on it. I'll have to watch that stuff again, now that I'm aware of my Jeff Jarrett fandom. I bet I'll see that in a different light now, just like I do the Double J stuff.

Brad Armstrong was stripped/handed over the WCW Lightheavyweight Championship @ COC XX because he was injured and could no longer defend the belt. Imagine that a babyface doing the right thing and following their bosses orders because the people deserve a fighting champion.

On the Jarrett front, from watching In Your House 2, I've learned that:
1) With My Baby Tonight is a real good song, and the live concert worked well with him being a heel.
2) Maybe it's because by the time of his IC title defense, it was heard no less than 4 times, but the Double J music is catchy as hell.

Al Snow was a criminally under-rated performer. He could work as good as anyone in the ring, and when he was on the mic the man could be gold.

I've commented on some of the jobbers from the early years of Raw. Well, you can add Chris Kanyon to that list as he wrestles in a tag match against 2 Dudes with Attitudes.
