Currently watching this Cribs with Jerry Lawler and I guess CM Punk's hate for him stems from his Coca-Cola house. Team Punk vs Team Lawler: (Cola) War Games! Not many just get pro wrestling like Terry Funk did. "The whole thing's stupid. The better friends you are, the more you trust each other. The more you trust each other, the more comftorable beating the hell out of one another. The more you beat the hell out of one another, the better match you have. The better match you have, the more you get paid. The more you get paid, the better friends you are."- Terry Funk giving the quote of Beyond The Mat

Watching Brutus Beefackae's return promo on the fourth episode of Raw after his facial surgery is just painful to listen to. It's almost Matt Hardy's return promo bad and it goes on forever.

Summer Rae has seen and remembers everything that's ever happened and can deliver catchy, informative chunks of information on a range of subjects in a style that fits clip shows perfectly.

Miz has also seen everything that's ever happened and each thing he saw was the greatest thing he ever saw.

Vince gave a very positive send off to Randy Savage on RAW, including thanking Randy for his years of service.
episode 85 aired 11/7/1994 for those who want to see it.

I just can't get into '88 NWA, Starrcade 87 is a seriously great show, and 1989 was, is and always shall be a favorite of mine. But no matter how many times I try, 1988 still puts me to sleep.

I think it was sort of a transitional year in 88. They were still booking like they did from 84-87 but the fans were getting fed up with the false finishes. Plus they were bleeding talent to the WWF.

Al Snow was a criminally under-rated performer. He could work as good as anyone in the ring, and when he was on the mic the man could be gold. The guy was really hot in late 98/99 with the Head stuff, and as you say he has the skills on all fronts to back it up. He could've gone a lot further. If someone had a gimmick that over today, they'd be in the main event.

If I was going to fault him on anything, it'd just be that his promo skills were outshone by a number of guys, but he had everything he needed all the same. I think an IC reign would have worked great. I loved his European title reign.

Stan Hanson had a disgusting chew gimmick where he'd have spit going down his chest as he gave promos.

The Bushwackers and Jack Tunney were still in WWE in December of 94. Thought they were long gone by then.

Also learned that Mike Rotunda was doing the Michael Wallstreet gimmick BEFORE his IRS gimmick. I always thought Michael Wallstreet was just a gimmick WCW gave him so they could keep him doing an IRS-like gimmick after he left the WWF during the Monday Night Wars.
