Also, on Vince's first Raw after dealing with the trial in 94, Savage is basically rubbing it in the US Court System's face. "NOT GUILTY!"

ECW 2000 was a mess. Still some entertaining things but if you thought guys in WCW didn't care that year it's nothing compared to most of ECW ' S ppvs

Yeah, the "yes movement" started when he became the "WOOOOOORLD HEAAAAAAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!" But it didn't start getting chanted during parts of the show he wasn't involved with until 18 seconds. this is actually false. the crowd was doing the chant before doors even opened when they were letting people hangout outside the stadium and then again before the pre-show even started. I can confirm this, people were running up the ramps while yessing D-Bry style.

For those who say "Savage lost his respect for Vince in 198_," there are moments like this (and that epic high five between the 2 at WM10) that provide evidence of how close the 2 probably actually were, even right toward the end...

Chris Benoit's wife and kids are focussed on in the front row at Backlash 2004 during his entrance - made me feel very uneasy.

ECW Shane Douglas was badass. Leave it to WWF to turn him into corny Dean Douglas. I had never seen ECW in 95 so didn't know how badass Shane was and thought he was a lame ass loser as Dean. Shane was Stone Cold before Steve Austin.

New Thing I Learned:
Episode 28 is the first Raw to use a midget for humor related purposes.

Heenan swore on live tv at a clash, and the network didn't edit it out.

Shawn Michaels was a decent 1995 RAW announcer

Funny watching the opening to the ECW December 2000 PPV and hearing Steve Corino mention the Bob Backlund ECW shoot run in. Tommy Dreamer mentioned it on Austin's podcast the other month and it was the first I recall hearing this story, yet it seems to have been pretty public knowledge. How have I still not seen it?

Watching old ECW TV right now and they had a "pain scan" (basically the old draw on screen brain scan done by Bobby Heenan). Dear God it looked awful.

From The Clash in August 96
Ultimo Dragon used to have big stupid teeth on his mask
WCW fans were hilarious. Madusa vs. Bull Nakano. A fan clearly yells "just go ahead and kick her in the big fat ass!"
I know I watched this live. I remember Benoit vs. Giant exactly. Glad I found that match

WCW had an unlimited check book, while WWE paid talent in confederate dollars

I forgot to mention this and I can't remember exactly what show it was on but I think Bobby Heenan may have started the whole, "Greatest night in the history of our sport!" thing.
I believe it was the PPV or Clash where Hogan was attacked by the mysterious masked man early on in his WCW career when making his entrance. It was basically a reenactment of the whole Tonya Harding thing with Hogan's knee being taken out and having to go to the hospital.
Tony says, "This is the worst night in the history of our sport" with Heenan correcting him and saying, "No it's the GREATEST night in the history of our sport!"

That the Harris Twins and the Blu Brothers were the same people. Didn't recognize them with all that hair.
Also they apparently didn't recognize in WCW that Meng was the same person as Haku from WWF because they kept talking about how he made a transformation from bodyguard to wrestler as if he had never wrestled previously.

Finally saw King Of The Ring 2001, and some loose ends were finally tied up regarding:
-Why Kurt had to wrestle three matches on the PPV (made no sense to me, now it does) -The Gif-worthy bad-ass trench-coat wearing DDP with the "Make Me Famous" sign -The backstory on how Austin would end up with the Alliance -Jeff Hardy & X-Pac had a good match. I forgot how over Jeff really was until I heard the screeching by the teenaged girls.
I gotta say that match between Kurt and Shane was hard to watch, especially the end when the refs helped Shane to the back. They let him stand and he was so out of it, he almost fell over. Jim Ross putting over Shane as "a non-professional with no formal training" being able to handle himself against Kurt should be embarrassing to a fan. They should just play that over and over to the backdrop "Don't Try This At Home".
And Chris Jericho knew how to make a triple-threat match work. Take a bad bump and sell for a long time.

According to Vince, he discovered Repo Man leaving a Subway and decided to give him a contract.
WWF actually gave Repo Man a 15 minute match with Randy Savage on Raw.
I never realized how much of a changeover in talent the WWF had in 1993. By year's end, so far watching, Kamala, Sean Mooney, Bobby Heenan, Gene Okerlund, Repo Man, Big Bossman, Lord Alfred Hayes, Koko B. Ware, Jim Duggan, Iron Mike Sharpe, Brutus Beefcake Hulk Hogan, Slick and Jimmy Hart are all out of the company. A majority of those names were huge deals at one time.
Vince's promotion for the Sci-Fi Channel on January 25th Raw is strange.
Earl Hebner leaps out of the ring to keep Flair from hitting Perfect with a chair...my question is....why? Flair gets DQ'd if he hits him and ends his own career, so what the hell Earl? Better yet...what the hell Flair?
During the Tatanka/Damien Demento match on the February 1, 1993 Raw, there is an audible, "We Want Flair" chantin.
Brutus Beefcake is apparently, "One of the All-Time Greats in the World Wrestling Federation".
Idk how true Brutus' promo was on the February 1st Raw but Jesus Christ, that must've been all kinds of hell....though throwing Hogan in there kinda ruins it.

Sandman was always pretty useless. Yup. It's a testament to how good of a booker Paul E was in ECW that he was so over with that crowd. Heyman always knew how to accentuate the strengths of his talents better than anyone else.
