Me Perfect on commentary making a joke about the size of Ahmed Johnsons nose width probably wouldn't happen these days, would it...

PastaMania really existed. I thought it was a joke I saw in one poster's sig, but nope. It is real.
The debut episode of Monday Nitro only had three matches.

Even in 1995 Hogan constantly mentioned slamming Andre at Wrestlemania.
Also I always thought, given how much WWE and other people bring it up, that Bischoff constantly spoiled Raw on Nitro. I've watched 6 episodes so far and he's only done it once. So unless he does it a lot at the end of 95 and throughout 96, he didn't do it as often as people made it seem.

Sabu used LA Parka's Wcw theme. How much awesome can one theme carry?

Anti-USA Yokozuna spoke English on Raw. I never realised. "American athletes are like American products! No good!"

Booker T and the Undertaker have a heckuva match at No Mercy 2001; Booker looked really strong up until that one mistake that resulted in the Last Ride and the pinfall. THAT'S how they should have booked Alliance members from the get-go.

That with the UK No Mercy in May 1999 British fans got the privalge of paying for a PPV featuring Tiger Ali Singh vs Gillberg and Nicole Bass v Tori.
Also from a personal thing I learn't I'm more likely to choose the wCw product over any other when it comes in choosing what to watch.

In 1995 WWF ran adds featuring space aliens who declared the only reasons they won't destroy the Earth is because of the existence of the WWF.

They should just play that over and over to the backdrop "Don't Try This At Home". They did. For years. 'I thought Shane mighta been knocked out.'

Hogan was a real dick in 1995. At World War 3 he complains and begs the fans to agree with him and that he should have the WCW title. If a referee reprimands him he threatens to hit him. He's ready to beat up a knocked out Lex Luger who did nothing wrong and he hits Sting when he comes down to protect his friend. Then when Giant is facing Savage for the title and attacks Giant with a chair for no reason ad Giant was about to win the title. He chokes a referee and hits another in the head with a chair! Then he bullies Savage into giving him a title shot. Hogan was a real dickhead.

Or maybe the writers and bookers were taking the piss out of him and making his character a huge self-entitled douche and he didn't realize that they were making fun of him.

The second episode of Nitro had 4 matches all with debuts/returns: Sabu, VK Wallstreet, Scott Norton, and Lex Luger and all 4 lost. Ok technically Sabu beat Alex Wright, but got the decision reversed when he put Das Wunderkind through the table. Still, strange way to introduce new characters to your show by having them all lose. Also, the crowd didn't seem to give a much of a crap about anything going on.

Watching the Monday Night War show on DX - two things:
1. Bret Hart calling them Degenerates started the name 2. Just how involved Ravishing Rick was with DX. I honestly had no idea - does this usually get glossed over or have I just been completely ignoring it?

Hogan's studio interview from the February 22, 1993 episode of Raw can arguably be used as him alluding to the events of 3 years later.
Undertaker's match with Skinner doesn't even have an ending. They show Taker doing 2 moves and just end. They don't even show the rest of the match the next week..what the hell?
Fatu got a WWF Title Shot on the March 1, 1993 episode of Raw.
I've never seen the identical twins switcharoo spot in a singles match until the Bret/Fatu match on Raw. Taker/Angle at SS did it better.
