Ron Simmons finished 8th in the Heidman. Bobby Bowden was a father to him! Brian Pillman played at Miami of Ohio and won the Cincinnati Bengals courage award! Lex Luger played professional football for 7 years.
Watch early 90s wcw shows and you learn those....every....single....time....

The Freebirds deserve a Hall of Fame Induction! And Old World Class is something everyone should watch!

I never knew that WCW PPV's had closing credits. I smile every time I see Virgil Runnels in the list. That and if I was older and lived in America, I would have loved WCW in the early 90s, roster is stacked. Some of the early WWF PPVs had credits too though I think they were shown in the middle of the show.

From Legends of Wrestling: Important Moments: Ric Flair is a kiss ass and completely full of shit. I respect the guy's past, but man is he unbearable on this episode. Him claiming Scott Hall had 'no talent' was enough to make me sit in stunned silence. Then he takes a shot at TNA... Ha. How'd that end up, Ric?

Ric Flair lost a lot of my respect due to the shit that came out of his mouth on that show. There's a bunch more episodes he showed up on that aren't on the Network yet and he manages to get worse.

Holy hell, he gets WORSE? I can't imagine how it could be any worse. There's one episode I can recall that has both Flair and Foley on it, these two are sitting right next to each other. I forgot the subject of the show but Flair uses it to take a few digs at Foley quite often, Mick laughs it off but you can see that it's bothering him quite a bit. With it being Flair nobody wants to call him out on being a dick, a running theme of his appearances. Later on when they were both in TNA we find out that Flair didn't exactly respect Mick and his style of wrestling so the digs make sense, it just makes the episode really uncomfortable to watch.

I've had a subscription since day one, but only just today have I been able to really watch anything.
Two things I've learned:
1) Craig Leathers worked for WWE. He is listed in the credits for "The Big Event". I thought he was WCW exclusive.
2) Scott Hudson was pretty great.

He kinda does this on the one I'm watching now about different factions. This is the same episode where Ric says the nWo was the worst faction of all-time. The man is an idiot.

If you count by like 1999 he probably has a point. Though even then I'd still take it over New Nexus.

The best revenge is living well. Foley's got a hell of a lot more to show for his years in wrestling than Flair does, if nothing else. It's not difficult to see which one of them is smarter.

Plus, Flair's attempts to break a TV by way of putting it in a figure four are just embarrassing.

I learned that they should have never let Ric Flair on Legends of Wrestling. Both episodes with him I've seen on there, he completely hijacks and barely lets anyone get a word in.

I never realized Bam Bam Bigelow was in the NWA in 1988. Always thought of him as a "WWF guy" until he showed up in WCW in 99 or 2000. Also didn't realize was in the WWF before '88. I thought he was a New Generation era guy.

The Road Warriors were also called the Legion of Doom in the NWA. I always thought that was a WWF thing.

The Legion of Doom was originally a stable consisting of the Road Warriors, Jake Roberts and a few other managed by Paul Ellering. The stable didn't last long and the name fell to the Road Warriors as the stable fell apart and died.

So it's like a more long-running form of when X-Pac and Road Dogg were a two-man DX I guess. Anyway, for another thing I've learned now that WCW and ECW PPVs are working on the 360, holy hell that Magnum TA / Tully Blanchard I Quit match is brutal.
