Hulk Hogan really let himself go. And turned into a pony. Vince is not gonna be happy for Wrestlemania. Nah, see the overalls? That's obviously Hillbilly Jim.

Before I heard their accents (cajun) I thought of the Wyatts. Instead we found a Swamp (pony) Village.

Hmm, I think I know now where my basic gist with my 6/10 ratings lie... They mean that there were quite a few things wrong with the episode but still contained enough enjoyable bits that made it worthwhile. While 5/10 (Pinkie Pride being the only episode to have got that rating) means the annoying and good parts are still in balance but that means still a large part I didn't agree with. At this point, an episode has to make me really mad to lower it into the 4/10 - 1/10 ratings. But that's because I love pony so much.

Also, I am disappointed... I thought Apple Bloom ties her bow herself after getting up every morning. But it seems she just has pre-made ones she can just stick on her mane and be done with it. What a shame.

Once again, I gave it an 8. Not great, but not terrible. A good episode again.

Nine.
Yes, nine. I loved that episode. I think it showed just how seriously AJ takes her role as an unofficial parental figure for Apple Bloom, maybe to an extreme, but... that's how normal parents can act, and Applejack is trying to fill in. I did also really like both the fiery swamp and the chimera, and... it was just a fun episode!

Okay 7 out of 10 for me.
I don't know what to make of this episode. First of all, Applejack sudden crazy over prodectiveness, where the hell did that come from, I never seen her like that before. But it was needed for plot purpose, a pet peeve of my. I thought the episode would have worked better with Rarity and Sweatie Belle, I could see Rarity doing that, she is a drama queen, but not level headed Applejack. Right idea, wrong sisters.
But despite that, it was a good episode, I love some of the clever things they did here, first of all the song be interupted, that was hillarous. But what really impressed was the climax, I was watching it, I thought for sure that was Applejack's over active imiganation, but the longer the scene I knew this was real. So you surprised me new writer, very good.
This is the first episode of the season, without all or most of the Mane Six, I have to check on that, but I know this is the first episode without Twilight this season.
Anyway good episode even though you have one of the characters way OOC, but I will let it slide once.

9. This one grew on me more. AJ's actions, a lot of the puns and jokes, the awesomeness of the Chimera. All makes for what is a better episode than I had originally expected

Adorable continuity nod with Sweetie Belle getting in bed similar to Rarity
