This is a thing that almost happened.
In a 1996 or 1997 issue of WWF Raw magazine, they drummed up some gossip by running paparazzi-style, far-off photographs of Sable wearing sunglases and Undertaker's black-and-purple hat while out at a cafe or something. I don't remember the contents of the article and sadly can't find a scan of the article, but it definitely existed and was something in the back of my mind for a little bit when Sable was fresh. She did a chat for WWFSable.com way back answering a question about it:
Q: Sable, in a past WWF RAW magazine, there was an article saying you were secretly planning to manage the Undertaker! It showed pictures of you wearing the Undertakers hat and modeling Undertaker cloths! If you aren't planning to manage him yet, would you want to! I think you 2 would make an excellent duo! What do you think??
A: There was talk about me possibly managing the UT. Right now I want to get Marc a shot at a title. Then I will explore other options.

How or where do you think this would have gone if it would have materialized? Part of me really wishes Sable could have managed Undertaker during his pre-Ministry phase when he was feuding with Mankind. They could have put Sable in a Miss Elizabeth-style role and had Mankind do some Jake Roberts-style heel work. A big Sable push seemed inevitable early on, so she still could have had that after splitting off from Taker. Or maybe they could have added Sable to the Ministry of Darkness/Attitude Era 'Taker to give him a femme fatale sidekick type.
