For me it was the Looney Tunes episode where Tweety drinks a Dr Jeckyll/Mr Hyde potion and turns into a deranged, oversized version of himself. The way giant Tweety cackled and lumbered after Sylvester gave me nightmares. How about the rest of you?

This f***ing guy. I used to dream he would force feed me his cereal just so i'd taste more nutritious later on. I couldn't even look at the cereal boxes. ...Though years later, he gave me a cool new sig.

A Bugs Bunny cartoon that had a gremlin (?) in it that tried detonating an atomic bomb or something like that. That little green bastard scared me for some reason when I was a kid.

Waking up anywhere other than your room at your house.
It's not just a little disorienting, it's like being in Freddy Kruegers' nightmare World. Even if if you technically know where you are, it's different in the dark.

Those floating brain things from Duke Nukem a time to kill. I'd use the big head cheat so they were massive, but god was I scared to death by those things. I use to think they were waiting around every corner in my house.
My brother use to have a Freddy Kruger poster and the background matched the color of his walls. When I would climb the steps to his room it always looked like Freddy was standing in the corner looking at me. He use to tell me Kruger guarded his room while he was gone, I believed him.

The dragon from Tic Tac Dough. My family watched that show every day when I was a little kid and every time I saw this: I'd go running behind the couch.

The sewer level of Star Wars: Dark Forces, mainly because of the Dianogas.

This advert
Thinking of the recent thread about the UK censors hating ninjas makes me even more annoyed they passed such a horrifying advert as I was traumatised at the thought of turning into a liquorice based monster.
"Game over return of gannon" and golliwogs were also damn scary.

Going to the kitchen in the dark. Not sure if it's the fridge's sound but something really terrified me about it.
Also Sweet Tooth's laugh (it can be heard everytime you use the vehicle's special weapon) in Twisted Metal 2. Mainly because you can only play as him by using a password, and i was only 4 so i still didn't know about such things, so it took me a while to know where the f***ing laugh was coming from.

One that may sound strange, but Bill Cosby's facial reactions at the end of some of the Cosby show intros. I dunno why tho. Probably the music.
