Seeing the rock farm in the ep again...
Now I see why when Pinkie took over the Apple Farm in Magical Mystery Cure the trees became the way they did so fast: she was subconsciously making it like home.

Anyway, after letting it all sink in, I went with a 10 as well.
First off, I loved the character of Maud and how she was pretty much emotionless and apathetic towards everything, which made for some great interactions with the rest of the mane cast. I've been big on dry humor as well, so that was a plus. Though I'd say the pacing was the best part of this episode. It actually didn't feel like a jumbled mess crammed into 22 minutes, and had time to set up and deliver jokes and feelings. Also, the moral was handled well in that while you may not make friends with everyone right away, the effort is still important, and that the surface isn't everything.
The only bad thing I can say about this episode was that there was no appearance (or even mention) of the other Pie sisters, but that's nothing major.

So, were those participant outfits just random or did Pinkie put them up with a specific pony in mind?

Well she probably would have had a crazy explanation for each one if she time to explain them. And I wonder which one would have gotten the Star Trek visor. And the Packer cheesehead.

Gonna bump my score up to a 9.
Maud is the Lillith to Pinkie's Frasier, and has her own sense of humor that takes a minute to realize (the camouflage game in particular). She's not antagonistic to the mane cast and is well aware of what they put up with when it comes to Pinkie. She's just very reserved and probably does the literal-minded responses in her own way (Pinkie does this too).

Wrote up three new MK endings - Princess!Twilight, Daring Do, and Maud. {Spoiler}Twilight Sparkle (Princess): In the face of Celestia and Luna crumbling before Shao Kahn while Princess Cadance was forced to focus her attention entirely on defending her subjects in the Crystal Empire, the ponies of Equestria turned to the only princess remaining, the novice Twilight Sparkle, to lead them.
While Twilight had no experience with waging war, she did have experience with strategy and planning, and her time learning of friendship served to make her know well how to organize the ponies into being on the same page. While Twilight had doubts and uncertainities, she successfully led her subjects to victory over the Outworld forces. Her significant magical prowess allowed her to defeat Shao Kahn personally; she chose to spare the emperor's life, but put on trial before those he had wronged with millenia of atrocities he was sentenced to death. For her show of mercy and brilliant tactics in leading the charge to save Equestria, Twilight Sparkle reigns even today as the most beloved princess the ponies have ever known.
Daring Do: All hope seemed lost. Equestria's forces were falling quickly, and no one pony, no matter how mighty they appeared to be, was able to go up against Shao Kahn and escape with their life. Celestia decided, choosing a poor life for her subjects to be better than their extinction, to surrender her realm to Outworld.
Before she could summon for Shao Kahn, however, she received word that Kahn had been killed on the battlefield by an interloping pony. Reports were mixed from the soldiers, but one thing was widely agreed upon - the pony who slayed the emperor appeared to be Daring Do, the legendary pony adventurer from a popular line of novels. None ever learned for sure who the pony truly was who intervened, but her assistance allowed the Equestrian forces to turn the tide in the battle and ultimately defeat Outworld once its forces began to crumble and fight amongst themselves for power. Rumors say the author of the Daring Do series is intending a new book based on the incident.
Maud Pie: Defeating Shao Kahn in a head-on battle seemed impossible. As a result, the question became if it would be possible to slay the emperor through a surprise attack on his palace in Outworld. An air strike was quickly ruled out, as the emperor had accounted for Equestria's pegasi, and the castle walls were discovered to be proofed against magic.
A small scounting party of Princess Twilight Sparkle and her friends was sent to study the palace, and see if they could discern any weaknesses in its structure. While the others objected, Pinkie Pie insisted on bringing along her sister Maud; this was a fateful decision, as upon studying the mountain the building rested on, Maud swiftly crushed several large stones lining along it. While the group was immediately alarmed at potentially being discovered, their surprise soon changed targets once the mountain began to collapse into a rock slide. The resulting fall destroyed the palace, instantly killing Shao Kahn and many of his generals and soldiers inside. Once news of this event reached Celestia, she swiftly ordered her armies together to take the capital city of Outworld to force a surrender.
When asked how she knew how to go about her attack, Maud simply replied, "I know rocks."

Visor for Twilight because she is such a nerd. And the cheesehead for Rainbow Dash because she didn't seem to mind cheese during the goof-off (not the character, but the cheese wagon he put her on).

An interesting theory I've been seeing is that Maud may have aspergers, hence her very introverted ways compared to Pinkie and the mane six. If that is the case, then the show managed to sneak it in perfectly while never making it an issue.
