This episode further proves my theory that Pinkie Pie is less annoying in episodes based on her rather than when she is just in a support role

In that case, give us more Pinkie episodes.

I have also no problem with Maud becoming Supermare in that scene.
My reasoning is that she can run like anypony else but prefers to take it slow normally. Furthermore, she has such a vast knowledge of rocks that she know their weak points to deal maximum damage (also explains why she could throw a rock so far away).

Actually, no, Alice-chan. It was just the scene where Pinkie Pie was stuck and in danger of getting smashed by a rock...while Twilight and Rarity (also counting in Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy to a part) stood there flabbergasted and didn't do anything. I'd constitute that to them being frozen from shock, and Maud, being the rock expert that she is, was the only one quick enough to act in that situation. Sometimes you just can't think that fast.

Furthermore, she has such a vast knowledge of rocks that she know their weak points to deal maximum damage (also explains why she could throw a rock so far away). It's also implied that earth ponies in general tend to be physically stronger and more durable than pegasi or unicorns. And if Maud stayed at the rock farm to work, of course she would be pretty strong. Speed would have been a question but she certainly has it. I think of Maud as Pinkie with the volume turned all the way down.... or an even less emotional version of a certain grump Leave me out of this

*looks up at Eunos' picture, before looking over at Goemon.* Goemon, I believe you need to pay a visit to our friend Lapis. *Goemon steps forward, clicking his sword open a little.* A thief and his swordsman have no evidence I had done such to the unworthy.
But you do have motive Goemon: "That may be, but nonetheless...." *He slashes quickly around Lapis, before slowly clicking the sword back into its sheath. Suddenly, Lapis' armor falls off, and part of his mane falls to the ground.* Goemon: "A warning, and nothing less."

I gave the episode an 8, another story where there weren't any huge flaws but nothing that really stood out as super great. Save for Maud going all Hokoto No Ken on that rock.

I wonder if in Maud's mind Boulder sounds like this:

Regarding Rarity's hat, at least they explained that she made it just for Maud's visit and that it is not part of her normal wardrobe.

And hey look, Pinkie can see when other ponies are in a down mood and react to it accordingly.
Noelle Benvenuti should go to Amy Rogers and give her writing lessons.

What could she tell us about Mt. Everest? "...it's made of rock."
