Time for the first elimination. Well, time to see who got eliminated first. Because that first sentence makes it seem like this poll is the first elimination, but it's the second. Anyway, here's what happened:
We start off with the team captains, Ric Flair and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper squaring off. They hook up and get tangled in a display of amateur wrestling that makes both men look good. However, Flair manages to get the upperhand and starts working over Piper. After a long armbar, Piper starts fighting out of it. So, Flair whips Piper across the ring. Flair goes for a back body drop, but he telegraphs it; and Piper kicks him right in the face. Flair falls back, and Piper tags out to the British Bulldog. Bulldog attacks Flair, using his strength to throw the Nature Boy around the ring. He then tags out to Bret "The Hitman" Hart, who works over Flair for a bit before tagging out to Virgil. Virgil gives the Nature Boy a good beating, but a quick thumb to the eye allows Flair to escape and tag in "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase. They double team Virgil, and then DiBiase takes over, working over his former valet. Eventually, the heels take their turns beating down on Virgil. Eventually, The Warlord has Virgil locked in a vicious full nelson. This goes on for a while until Virgil can't take it anymore. He gives up and is eliminated.
Match 1
Ric Flair
The Mountie
“The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase
The Warlord
(with Mr. Perfect, Jimmy Hart, Sensational Sherri and Harvey Wippleman)
VS
“Rowdy” Roddy Piper
Bret “The Hitman” Hart
Virgil
The British Bulldog
First Elimination: Virgil by The Warlord
It's 4-to-3 with heels having the advantage. But, anything can happen. So have at it.
Also, for those who may not have seen this yesterday:
This year ended with a rare 3-on-3 Elimination Tag match with the Big Bossman and The Legion Of Doom taking on IRS and The Natural Disasters. However, that wasn't the original match. Sid Justice (with the faces) and Jake "The Snake" Roberts (with the heels) were originally suppose to wrestle. But, Sid injured his biceps before the match, causing him to miss the PPV. At the time, the famous feud between Roberts and "Macho Man" Randy Savage was beginning even though Savage was "retired" at the time. After Sid was taken off his team, many began calling for The Macho Man to take his place. However, that's not what happened. Inside, Roberts was taken out of the match, much to people's chagrin.
However, this is a redo. So, I was wondering if you people wanted to redo the match as it actually happen. Or, do you want me to make it 4-on-4? If so, should I put Sid or Savage in the match? Let me know in the comments.
