And then two episodes left, which may be the finale in two parts.

So... things to notice.

-Applejack is a main focus in a lot of episodes this season! She's co-starred in four episodes and is finally getting her own episode this week.
-They seem to be making up for last season with Rarity; she will have been a focus in four episodes.
-Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie both got two solo episodes each this season, and also had an episode with Applejack.
-Rainbow Dash has three episodes where she's the focus.
-Twilight has had one episode (where Discord really overshadowed her, let's be honest) and was technically part of the CMC episode as well.
-The CMC episodes have been surprisingly good this season; seriously, Flight to the Finish is one of the best episodes of the series.
-Maud Pie is Best New Pony. Coco who?
-There have been a lot of new writers this season, and most of their first attempts have been pretty good. Even if the follow-up ended up being less than stellar.

And most importantly...

-I was right to say back when Twilicorn was announced to give the writers a chance this season, and sure enough, the show didn't become My Little Pony: Twilight Sparkle (and Friends). While there have been some "meh" episodes, that's the same for every season, so I'm not bothered by it.

So in conclusion?

The Last Roundup is still overrated. This has been a good season that did not need three Spike episodes, dammit.

We are glad to announce that with yesterday's win, Twilight Sparkle led Bayern Munich to the earliest championship victory in the 50-year history of the Bundesliga.

Never before has a team managed to secure the championship as early as the 27th league day, 8 league days before the end. The only prior instance to that was...Bayern Munich last year when they secured it at the 28th league day.

We congratulate Twilight Sparkle on her excellent coaching and will look forward if she breaks another record becoming the first team *shudder* to win the championship without receiving a single loss.
