I wonder when WWE found out about this. They must not have known during the Smackdown taping, I would think. They might have found out a bit early, but decided to wait to get enough details to see if something even more tragic had occurred. Can't blame them if that's the case. Man, this is crazy. Fans were taking pics with him in the airport this morning. God.

I can't believe this. The Ultimate Warrior was the first guy I was a fan of when I became a wrestling fan when I was 9 years old. It seems so surreal to see him on TV one night and 24 hours later he's gone, which makes me think whatever happened was something sudden. I'm glad he was able to make peace and get inducted before the Hall of Fame before his passing.
RIP Warrior

I was, and am, very much against some of the things he said about homosexuality, but still, reading this, I felt a chill go down my neck. 54 is too young, and I hope the very most for his family. I am sure there will be a lot of kindness and support sent their way, and I hope it can help, even in a small way. That's pretty much exactly where I stand. RIP.

I'm in shock! I really don't know what to say here except my thoughts and prayers got out to his family and thank god we had that Warrior Moment on RAW on last night. I will have to watch that again in a whole new light now with the news now confirmed by the WWE.
My god this is what real shock is like and it doesn't feel all that good right now.

I know he burnt a shitload of bridges with a lot of people, but I just hope people remember two grade-school aged girls just lost their father and their mother just lost her husband. His mother who was right there with them this weekend just lost her son too. It's too much. Truth right here. I vehemently disliked the man in his later years, but to see a family go from utter elation to tragic loss breaks even my stone heart. ![:'(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cry.png)

If it is natural causes, it's natural causes. May be influenced by past abuse, but still.
If it's self-inflicted... god this could go so many ways. Did he realize... he wasn't the Ultimate Warrior anymore and couldn't bear the thought?

Likely what happened was a heart attack.
At least he got to step up to the ring one more time.

Nearly 20 years on the outs with WWE, finally patches things up, accepts a Hall of Fame induction on Saturday, appears at the 30th anniversary of Wrestlemania on Sunday, steps into a ring on Raw for the first time in years on Monday to thanks the fans, and dies on Tuesday.
It's absolutely insane, but I think that sums up Warrior pretty well.

Jason Solomon @solomonster 35s Warrior on Raw only one day earlier: "Every man's heart one day beats its final beat. His lungs breathe a final breath." How prophetic.

While I disagreed with A LOT of what he's said over the years, wrestling related and otherwise, this is still tragic. So RIP

Eerily reminds me of how Savage was starting to slowly make amends with the WWE before his death. Not saying it's connected (of course not), but it doesn't make it any less freaky.

I'm gonna wait until we get more concrete stuff on exactly how this happened, but the fact that it was announced that Warrior was dead, not anyone else, has me a bit less worried about Benoit 2.0

The shock I had at WrestleMania when Taker lost is nothing compared to the shock I'm feeling now. This is just so unbelievable to me. He was so full of life at both The Hall of Fame and last night on Monday Night Raw. He and his family seemed so happy. Now I can just see the devastation that they are feeling right now and it hurts to think about that so much. I'm downloading Raw right now so I can save that moment in time forever. This is just so crazy. I'm looking at the picture of Vince and Warrior hugging and wow what a difference 24 hours can make.

I won't lie. I'm close to crying.
By happenstance I wore my Warrior Tshirt today. I chose to buy one, given the volatile nature of Warrior and WWE's relationship, I felt I should get one while I could. Glad the dress code at work is slack-ass, because I'm wearing it tomorrow too.

It's really eerie considering what he said on Raw. It's as if he got his message out.
