Wow.
He was my first favorite wrestler as a child. Had the wrestling buddy (still do, actually) and the little kit to dress like him. I used to wear the arm bands and tassels to bed. This breaks my f***ing heart so much.

I just hope this isn't a Benoit situation all over again. Unless something concrete breaks on it. Do not even speculate that way.

This is reality. One day I was talking to my wife on the phone while away on the business trip. That night she passed away in her sleep.
It doesn't have to make sense. I grieve for his loved ones, I know the pain.
I saw him live back in the day, first WWE show I ever attended, against Jake the Snake.
Thanks for the memories. RIP big fella. Time for the final journey to the home planet.

I know he burnt a shitload of bridges with a lot of people, but I just hope people remember two grade-school aged girls just lost their father and their mother just lost her husband.

Oh my God. I'm frankly stunned. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) One of my all time favorite Wrestlemania matches was Warrior vs Savage Career match...and now the main players in that whole storyline/match, are all gone. RIP Warrior ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png)

This is even more shocking than Taker losing on Sunday. I don't believe it. My God!!!! This puts it into real perspective. The loss of a win streak in a fictional narrative is NOTHING compared to the loss of an actual man. Absolutely. I'm in total disbelief. My buddy texted me and I thought he was making a joke. It's so surreal. For the record, I probably shouldn't have put it in comparative terms, more of just the point this is literally the last thing I ever thought I would be reading this evening.

I'm at a loss.
I'm going through things in my mind that WWE could do in tribute... Multicolored ropes is an option, but I'd like to see black tassels on the wrestlers arms.
I always picked Warrior over Hogan... Glad he had his moment.

At least Warrior and WWE made-up, and Warrior got to do one last long-awaited WWE interview about his career. Savage will never have that opportunity, and I think that made people in the company realize that they have to put shit in the past and honor people who made an impact in the business.
Maybe there's more to him being blown up after shaking the ropes than it seemed. They actually panned the cameras to the audience last night a few times. Perhaps some kind of condition?

I was always a huge fan. I marked when he signed with WCW and enjoyed his run there. I'm still in total shock. This one hits hard. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png)

I'm too young to see so many of my childhood heroes gone. RIP and the best to his surviving family.

This is...probably going to sound insensitive. I apologize in advance.
I'm a newer wrestling fan then a lot of people. I got into it in the year 2000, and most of what I know of the golden era was through tape trading and youtube. One of the greatest joys of my wrestling fandom has been discovering how amazing Randy Savage was after his death. Now, I'm pretty familiar with Warrior so I'm not sure that will happen with me but SOMEONE out there is probably going to rediscover how awesome this dude was with this news breaking everywhere.
I mean, it's tragic. Yes. But the magic of wrestling doesn't go away and good on Warrior for getting to make so many people love him. Even now, there's going to be even more.

I wonder when WWE found out about this. They must not have known during the Smackdown taping, I would think.

This is utterly stunning. More for the timing than anything.
Jesus, looking at last night now, it really did feel like something might have been wrong with him.

With the new rise of superstars and divas, it feels like the legends of yesterday are being sacrifice for the success of the new kids on the block.

I have my own theory on what happened, but until more comes out I'll keep it to myself.
