OT, but do you read any other threads Jamie12 ? I've just noticed that you've been here for months (and have dozens of posts) but have only ever posted in this thread. It's all good, I just found that interesting.

That was me with the old Old Observer Quotes Thread. Now I can't leave. I'm frightened, jamie.

Well, if it helps keep you entertained, here's another thread that I think you'll like as well jamie. officialfan.proboards.com/thread/479995/happenedBack on topic: -The Undertaker's first match in WWE was against Mario Mancini. -If we don't count Royal Rumbles and Battle Royals, he won over 50 matches in a row after debuting before losing to the Ultimate Warrior by DQ. -The last man Taker beat during his debut winning streak? Buck Zumhofe. -After winning said 50+ matches, Taker went on to lose 50+ to Warrior over that summer. So... give or take a few matches here and there, Taker's first 50 matches in WWE were squashes, the second 50 were losses to the Ultimate Warrior.

That's what I thought. :/ Thanks for the answer! I thought somebody threatened to report the thread because he didn't get his own way somewhere else.

That's what I thought. :/ Thanks for the answer! I thought somebody threatened to report the thread because he didn't get his own way somewhere else. That's exactly what it was. I remember the specific forumite (he admitted it publicly) who said that it was hypocritical to have the Observer thread up while also banning discussion of getting the network illegally from elsewhere. The mods deleted it more or less to keep the peace I think and also because the whole forum nearly got shutdown over embedding WWE material previously, so if Meltzer was the litigious type we could all have lost the forum. It's for the best really, but it sucks to lose the thread and the guy's original point was a nonsensical comparison.

Of the 50 most populous cities in the US, 39 have hosted a WWE PPV.
The least populous city to host a PPV is East Rutherford, NJ (a little over 8,000). It should be noted that the city is right outside of New York.

It should be noted that the city is right outside of New York. You can't really judge the least populous city that way since oftentimes the stadium is just outside of the major city in a tiny town/village. For example, Rosemont, Illinois (pop. 4,200) hosted the very FIRST wrestling PPV, The Wrestling Classic, and the NEXT wrestling PPV, Extreme Rules. Rosemont's a hugely popular stop for wrestling PPVs. It hosted WrestleMania 2, Survivor Series 89, WrestleMania 13, Judgment Day '98, Backlash '01, WrestleMania 22, Cyber Sunday '07, Judgment Day '09, Night of Champions '10, Money in the Bank '11, Extreme Rules '12, Payback '13, Payback '14... Hell, WCW even had a Spring Stampede there.

World champions that only ever held the WWE Title are
Bruno Sammartino Ivan Koloff Stan Stasiak Pedro Morales Billy Graham Bob Backlund Iron Sheik Andre the Giant Ultimate Warrior Sgt. Slaughter Yokozuna Steve Austin Eddie Guerrero Bradshaw The Miz Seth Rollins
I counted NWA, AWA, New Japan, WCW, ECW, TNA and the WWE WHC in this. If you wanted to add RoH then drop Seth Rollins from the list.

When The Undertaker tossed Mick Foley off the top of the Hell in a Cell he said it was like "Time Stopped". And when he looked down on Foley after the chokeslam that broke the cell and spilled Mick to the mat, he said that for a moment, he thought Mick was dead.

The members of the Twin Towers (Akeem & Bossman) and the Miracle Violence Connection (Gordy & Dr. Death) were the only four UWF champions during that title's life.
Seven of the last eight Mid-South North American champions (the precursor to the UWF title) would be in the WWF within two years of winning that belt. This includes Duggan, Dick Slater, Jake Roberts, the Nightmare (Randy Colley), Terry Taylor, Ted Dibiase and Butch Reed. The only one of the eight that didn't was Dick Murdoch, and that's because that is where he had just come from.
Ron and Jimmy Garvin weren't really brothers; Ron was Jimmy's stepfather.

I thought I'd added both, but I must not have written them in. Will edit.
