The Night of Champions where Cody Rhodes & Hardcore Holly defended the world tag titles against the debuting Ted DiBiase Jr and his mystery partner that turned out to be Cody Rhodes, who turned on Hardcore Holly and let DiBiase pin Holly.

The Visionaries were the only team from the 1990 Survivor Series where all the members participated in the 1991 Royal Rumble.

Psicosis has defended 2 different titles that he never actually won. He lost both straight away. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psicosis#World_Championship_Wrestling_.281996.E2.80.932000.29The first was the IWGP Junior Heavyweight title that Juventud Guerrara held. Juvi was "injured" (DUI arrest), and Psicosis defended it for him. He lost to Jushin Liger. The second was the WCW Cruiserweight title that he "won" on a house show after Lenny Lane was removed from TV due to trouble with GLAAD. Psicosis lost on his first appearance on TV with the title to Disco Inferno.

Wrestlemania 8 is the only Wrestlemania where every competitor had a Hasbro figure. Similarly, the November 1990 Main Event and the November 1992 SNME are the only SNME/ME shows where everyone has a Hasbro figure (warrior, dibiase, bossman, perfect, santana, martel, and if you want to count the unaired rockers/harts title change, that works too, and the November 92 show had Warrior, Savage, Money Inc, Hart, Papa Shango, Bulldog, and Shawn Michaels).

Scott Steiner's last WWF match on pay per view was the 1994 Royal Rumble. His next PPV match for that company was exactly nine years later.

I posted THIS in the Money In The Bank Post in the WWE Section, but thought it would fit here, if anyone wants facts about the MITB PPV.

Roddy Piper wore leather jackets off and on over the course of his career. A notable one that showed up often: However, here's another he wore at times: You'll notice the shoulder areas are different, with the second one less-textured. Okay, now what makes this an obscure wrestling fact is: That second one he broke out from time to time? It's the exact same jacket Adrian Adonis had worn during his biker gimmick days and had given Piper on a Piper's Pit when Adonis switched from biker to being Adorable.

Chris Jericho "invented" Money In The Bank, but has never won it.

All three members of The Sheild won their first WWE title from a former stablemate. Rollins won his first from Reigns, Reigns from Ambrose and Ambrose from Rollins. In all 3 cases, a MITB cash-in was involved in some way. Ambose was the only one to pin the current champion for his first reign.

Battleground is not the first time Ambrose, Reigns, and Rollins will have a Triple-Threat match. They had one at FCW

I think I see what you mean but the phrasing is off, given that Reigns won a vacant title and Rollins won Brock's title. I guess what you're trying to say is all three won by pinning their former stablemate, whether they were champion or not?

Horace Hogan appeared briefly in WWF in 1993 (1 TV appearance) as "The Predator" and briefly in ECW in 1995 as "Prey of the Dead". Just thought both of those names were hilarious.
