Because I was bored, I actually went calculated the entries as it stands for next week's PONYCAR All-Star race. AS it turned out, most of them won't be changed by results in the next main race, so it's mostly set now, except for a couple of teams...

What I remember most from the original posting, Alice-chan, is that you were completely flabbergasted by the concept of "servant zebra".

Eh... it might have bugged me more if she had just said she knew a spell to do it and then did it. I know she's shown to have Transformative spells before, but up to that point, they had:

-Required concentration to maintain (Feeling Pinkie Keen) and only affected inanimate objects.
-Turned the target creatures into deformed versions of the intended result (The Best Night Ever), and was cast on a sentient (but not sapient-like-a-pony) creature.
-Probably should not have worked the way it did (Too Many Pinkie Pies) and caused at least one sin against nature.

I can absolutely believe that Twilight found a spell in a spell book left behind in the old castle which would allow her to turn a sapient creature into another sapient creature without needing to expend a ton of focus on maintaining it. A mouse in the body of a horse is still going to think like a mouse, and... the frog-orange probably died a horrible death.

But... I can also admit that it was still a bit of an ass-pull.

I think my problem with Rainbow Rocks is that while I don't hate Equestria Girls, the concept for this movie (it's a battle of the bands and music turns you into some half-assed anthro horse) is not that interesting. It could still be good, but I'm still not hyped... even with Vinyl Scratch having a role in it (although I bet she doesn't talk).

And yeah unfortunately that existed before Equestria Girls but I'll be darned if this just wasn't HASBRO ringing a Triangle and saying "COME ANNNNNND GEDDIT!!"

Sorry I'm being negative, what I meant to say was Equestria Girls is a huge waste of time and probably the reason MLP Season 5 isn't happening until next year.

Even if the spells from previous episodes don't apply, there is still the point that every magical character in each form of fictional media could do that type of transformation spell and IMHO it is not fair to single out Twilight when its a common trope.
