Did they use a different definition of arm's length away? I looked at those photos in the article and all looked closer than arm's length away (the second one looked the closest to being arm's length away).

I don't know why anyone would pay to take a picture with, or get an autograph from a celebrity. These people got rich from us spending our money on whatever it is they are selling. When a fan wants a picture or autograph, celebrities should be thankful and humbled by the attention, not trying to take more of your hard earned money.

For most female celebrities, not only to do I owe them lawsuit money, but I actually have to stay a certain number of feet away from them. Some of these girls really think too highly of themselves, I'm pretty sure.  |

I don't know about the rest of you, but if I'm getting paid $400 to have my fans (consumers) stand at arm's length for a picture, I'd at least look like I want to be there. Maybe even give a smile worth $400.

Ok, let me get this. These people that have bought her music, tickets to her concerts, bought her merchandizing and made her a star, she's found a way to squeeze even more cash out of them? Her way of thanking her fan base, which she'd be nothing without, is to get even more of their money.
I can't tell if that's the business or just freakin' evil.
