My dad's a Rangers fan so I watched the frustration as the game went on. I'm a more neutral fan (I have a rooting interest against the Rangers obviously but I'm not a Habs fan either) but it was just a really sloppy game that was hard to watch without much in the way of excitement or tension.

Yeah, no matter how pissed you are, you can't put your hands on an official like that.
I wouldn't be surprised if Prust is suspended for at least 4 games. He has a history as a thug working against him (did the same shit on the Rangers against the Devils during the 2012 EC finals) along with the Stepan injury.
Eddie Olczyk thinks that both Carcillo and Prust will get 3-5 games each.

Well, Olczyk was wrong about Carcillo. He's suspended for 10 games. NHL rulebook states that 10 games is the minimum for "deliberately applying physical force to an official."

He played for both the Rangers and the Habs, though spent way more time in Montreal. Wouldn't be surprised if there was a bias there. |
