I've tempered my Kings hate because the Rags are still kicking but I still think Jeff Carter is a jackass. I have read a bunch about him, and it seems most of what he is hated for is the trade out of Philly then demanding to be traded from the Blue Jackets. But he had just resigned a long term contract with Philly where he wanted to stay. Later it was discovered the Flyers were trying to trade him before he signed and always planned to ship him. So yeah, he was ticked, and he only had a small window before his no trade clause kicked and he wanted out of Columbus. Overall, I have no issue with that the Flyers screwed him over and lied to him. Maybe he could have been more graceful in Columbus, but he felt he had to do something and he did. |

That first ended up being Kerby Rychel, who's looking like a pretty good prospect these days. Sure, I'll give you that Carts maybe was a baby about the whole thing, but the Jackets got a fair return. |

Also they did it right before his NTC kicked in and only a year within a long ass term contract and shipped him in one of the least desirable losing franchises in hockey. At a time where their seemed to be no light in the end of the tunnel for them. |

Two wrongs (or how many you want to stack the Flyers wrongs up to) doesn't make a right. Cause if you want me to hate on the Flyers I could write a novel. You get paid great money to play a game. I'm sorry I can't sympathize with his plight in Columbus.
