Once again Edmonton doesn't have a home game at my birthday again. Anywho god dammit I hate this schedule. Easy first half where they are going to have a good start or bomb then second half straight up f***ing bombage except they are going to bomb harder then other years before. Can't wait for McDavid at 2015 *Waits for McDavid at the end of next year.* *Whole world collapses when Buffalo gets the first pick* If a Bettman Seven team or any Original Six team bombs next year, McDavid is so going to be drafted by one of those teams.

Bettman Seven? What the heck is that? Detroit, Chicago, Boston, NYR, Washington, Pittsburgh, Philly the seven teams that always gets promoted on NBC games and winter classics. Occasionally Buffalo and St. Louis get some exposure but as jobbing teams. But now with Detroit out of the Western Conference and St. Louis being a good team again they get less exposure now and instead throw the bone to Montreal or Toronto every once in awhile

I now expect Columbus to trade Hartnell to LA by the end of next season.

I'm so conflicted by this. Hartnell's contract was garbage but he was the heart a soul of the team. And seriously all you get for him is RJ Umberger and a 4th rounder?! I like RJ but I'd take Hartnell over him any day.

Your Class of 2014 for the Hockey Hall of Fame:
Dominik Hasek Mike Modano Peter Forsberg Rob Blake
Pat Burns (Coach)
Bill McCreary (referee)
Very deserving class, imo. Bittersweet to see Pat Burns inducted posthumously.

You know, the entire Kings fanbase is divided on this recent development. Many-myself included-are real happy that Blakey is in the HHOF and really appreciate his time with the organization. There are many others that still want his blood for the way that he left to the Avs in 2001 and the way he left again in 2008 by signing with the Sharks. *edit* I also don't mind that he's back with the organization under Deano's tutelage as assistant GM and GM of our farm team.

Kind of crazy to think the Avs had Bourque, Blake, and Foote on their team. 3 of the all time greats played on that team in the span of a few years. And yes, Footer is an all time great.

Flyers resigned baby Schenn for 2 years $5 million. Hexy is kicking ass with the resignings with Schenn and Kimmo.

We were close with Nashville with Suter and Weber and I would argue today's St. Louis Blues with Pieteranglo, Shattenkirk, Jackman, Jay Bo is a great top 4. Markov and Subban is great as well with Seabrooke and Keith.

*cough* Doughty, Muzzin, A-Mart, Mitchell*cough* cough* Doughty is a superstar and one of the best of the league. The rest of the guys are incredible role players, but not super star level. And they don't have to be, that is what made them work so damned well.
