Ebs and Nuge injured? Our top three centers tonight have a combined 46 games of NHL experience. Petry Oilers most well rounded and possibly best defenseman is a healthy scratch?! Against the LA Kings tonight. Holy f*** folks we maybe witnessing a 11-1 game tonight. This organization is a joke! No wonder this franchise has been the worst team by a huge distance the last 8 seasons. Fire Eakins! Fire Lowe! Fire MacTavish for hiring Eakins and refusing to fire him They ought to make MacTavish suit up and play.

Wow. For once my optimism in the Isles doesn't appear to be misplaced. This team is going to score goals, if they can just stay healthy and get solid..not outstanding just solid rear end play they can have themselves a nice little season for a change.
Also Boston, want to thank you for Boychuk. Who knew he could QB a power play like he has been while we wait another couple weeks for Visnovsky and DeHaan to come back. Grabner on the 3rd line with his speed will be nice to have by Christmas too.

This game is a reenactment of me playing as the Eastern Conference All Stars against Team Britain on beginner mode on NHL. Seriously wow edmonton does not look like a hockey team at all. Hey look Donovan McNab watching his nephew playing on a fringe team for his debut game. Should of played against Calgary or Vancouver instead for his debut game!
Lol sportsnet commentator called McNab still one of the best quarterbacks today in the NFL. 12 years of this bullshit

Rangers are in trouble if they can't figure out their center depth and defensive issues. If Hank isn't playing on top of his head, they can easily give up 5 goals a game.

Devils, I want to thank you for doing something you failed to do almost all of last season: winning 3 games in a row, and tonight against a legitimate team in Tampa Bay.
Now, please, let Adam Larsson play.

The more I watch him play, the more I love Cammy on the Devils. Schneider also played a great game against a scary offense like TB's.

The Oilers have now allowed 15 goals in 3 games This game was...wow. I'm glad that the Kings crushed the Oilers as they should, but you have no idea how much I feel for you. From Katz on down, the Oilers aren't even trying. That's f***ing pathetic. You guys don't deserve this shit. Also, goddamn you FSW for putting up that graphic of JQ about to tie Rogie Vachon's club shutout record only to have Matt Hendricks score not more that 10 seconds later.

Agreed, he's Parise-Lite, and I don't mean that as an insult or backhanded compliment. He moves, plays both sides of the ice well, and crashes the net and cleans up rebounds like a boss. It's pretty clear why Lou's had his eye on him for awhile, dude fits the system very well. Havlat has also meshed very well with Patty, and I'm surprised how much younger Zubrus looks right now compared to last season. Dude looked like he was on his way to being a forth line/possession-type guy, and maybe in an ideal situation he still is, but they've clearly got some chemistry on that line. Just hope they address the 4th line going forward (though kudos to them drawing that late penalty last night to get one more PP in before Tampa pulled Nabby), and the whole "let's play a clearly washed up Salvador over Adam Larsson" issue. I don't hate Sal, but the dude simply shouldn't be playing over a 21 year old who still has so much upside, especially when the other young D-men are such a big reason why the Devils are playing well so far.

You knew it wasn't going to be a good day for Sal when the first shift he had an awful turnover in neutral zone and then a soft clear attempt later as they were pinned back in that shift.

Your commentators probably didn't spend the last five minutes of the first period making football puns because they interviewed Donovan McNabb. Speaking of which big problem is the local media for not ever criticising the Oilers or Kevin Lowe. Lowe would never survive toronto or montreal

Unfortunately, Salvador is going to continue getting ice time over guys that should be getting the time like Larsson as long as he has that "C" on his sweater. Deboer likes him and will feel obligated to play him. The most we can hope for is that Lou pulls a Langenbrunner and trades him mid-season.

The Oilers have now allowed 15 goals in 3 games Flyers have given up 16 through 4. But then again we've atleast been competitive. (No offense)

There isn't enough criticism for the Oilers. Otherwise Katz would of fired Lowe by now. At least those games were close games including against the Ducks who are one of the elite teams. They don't have a -9 goal differential as well.

As bad as Edmonton is and has been, they STILL finished 10+ points ahead of the Sabres last season.
We ain't much better.
Man, and to think, BUF/EDM was almost the 2006 Stanley Cup Finals.
