Pretty sure they'd go to Brodeur over Bryz. Yeah, could be, not sure Broddy would be up for a short term though. And it'd be so f***in surreal to see that. Patrick Roy coaching Martin Brodeur. That needs to happen, short term or not. Heck maybe if he does do good short term, they'll make him the backup.

I think this warrants sharing: wejustscored.comIt apparently gets regularly updated, so, for example, it'll change the Devils' goal horn once the Devils have a home game and debut their new tune for this year. Also, it has the best touch imaginable at the bottom. Not to give away anything but one of them sounds like the theme song to a 70's sitcom.

Great now there are Rumours of Yakupov being traded to NJ or Columbus. This starting to sound exactly like the beginning of last season all over again

I'll gladly give you Bryce Salvador for Yakupov along with a complementary bag of pucks and some traffic cones.

He's one of the few who plays hard every game with grit. Problem is idiot coach Eakins wants him to play like Begeron rather then a offensive goal scoring winger. Establish him as a goal scorer then work on his two way game after. Seriously Philly is like Toronto of the states. Every f***ing player at one time or another has been rumored to be traded too or signed to Philly just like Toronto

Welp, they are about ready to drop the puck for the Fuel's first game. Pretty cool intro graphic on the rink about Indy's hockey history, from the AHL Capitols to the USHL Ice, who had their Clark Cup victory last season mentioned.
No prizes for guessing the song they came out with.

Hey I'm just happy that NJ is one of the "Rumored to get a big player" teams for once.

So let me get this straight. Martin Marincin who was the best Oilers left side defenseman last year and may have been the best overall defenseman on the team is finally called up from his AHL demotion for his first game and he was the best skater on the ice for the Oilers tonight? What a shock!!!! Also in typical Oilers fashion, the goaltender plays a great game and the whole team plays defensively responsible which means they can't f***ing score!
It's also sad the teams two worst defenseman are the two highest paid defenseman on the team. Man Andrew Ference really should retire. I still think naming him the captain before he even played one game with the team was one of the worst moves in franchise history. You only name captains who hasn't played on the team before if they are a proven elite generational talent like Gretzky and even then it could still horribly backfire (Messier in Vancouver). Great guy personally and does a lot for the community but man he just sucks.

Y'know, neither team from the 2006 Stanley Cup has done well since then.
Anyway, great game last night. Fuel were up 3-0, but Fort Wayne scored 4 goals in the first ten minutes of the third period, but the Fuel sent it to overtime, and the shootout went 9 rounds.
Unfortunately, Fort Wayne won, but I thought it was cool.
Here's that intro I mentioned last night. Pretty cool for an ECHL team:

The Blackhawks won in OT last night over the Preds. I'll be at the United Center on Tuesday vs. the Flyers.

MSL scored for the Rangers and made it 2-0. After a long review and the Sharks coach yelling his head of to the referee, Nash scored his 7th of the season. That tied for fastest 2 goals in franchise history. 3-0 after 2.

Rangers finally looked good tonight. Good to see Hayes with a goal, but I'm not too keen on scratching Duclair. Jerking him around too much might ruin him.

Even though King Henrik had the shutout, Matt Hunwick had the save of the night, and possibly of the season.
