Edmonton grab their fourth win in a row with a 3-0 victory against Montreal. I don't know what's more shocking: That they've won 4 in a row or that they shutout the Habs to do it. Even more shocking, the Oil are 13-4-3 in the last 20 against Montreal.

Who's excited for tonight's Wednesday Night Rivalries game between two teams that aren't even close to being rivals?

Who's excited for tonight's Wednesday Night Rivalries game between two teams that aren't even close to being rivals? Hey man I get excited when edmonton plays Nashville. They always seem to beat Nashville all the time in high scoring games or blowouts no matter how shitty the team is or how good Nashville is. Let's see if edmonton can actually make it 5 in a row and beat their first western conference team of the season

At least Varly is back and finding his form. And the special teams are great on PK. But what about everything else? In the basement

Don't worry edmonton. Only 28 more games against the eastern conference this year. That'll give us 65 points. Seriously Nashville is a serious dark horse this year but Jesus christ edmonton beat a team in your conference and not lose in a blowout or shutout

Funny how the schedule is so unbalanced that the Blackhawks get their two games against the Senators done in the first month of the season. Should be a good one tonight, and then HNIC on Saturday against the Leafs.

The Sens lead (boo), but their goal song is Adam Rose's theme, so they win points for that. Hopefully only hear it the once tonight.

Nathan MacKinnion finally scores his first goal of the year and put the second up after it. Avs up 4-0 after 2 on the Islanders.

Jacob Josefson's goal to end the Devil's Futility streak in shootouts was freakin' filthy, too.
JJ's been playing really well as of late. Hope he continues to get minutes because he's vastly improved so far versus years past.

Marian Hossa got his 1,000th NHL point last night, the 80th player to reach that mark.

Canucks forward Alexandre Burrows has been banned for three games for his illegal check to the head of Canadiens defenseman Alexei Emelin.
