The Montreal show on August 17th will be the second show of a double header weekend in the Centre LGH, with NCW Femmes Fatales running there on August 16th. That's Quebec's top women's promotion, with a main event already announced of Mercedes Martinez vs. LuFisto vs. Cheerleader Melissa vs. Courtney Rush in a four way. So maybe there'll be an NCW Femmes Fatales offer match on the CHIKARA show...

How is the match graphics got worse with the time away? Was that Donst's job or something? They look like the kind the Wrestling Is groups do, but yeah, they stink. |

Don't get me wrong, I miss the classic CHIKARA style for the versus graphics. But on the other hand...this really does fit the minimalistic/simplistic theme the company's had in it's design work since it's revival.

The first match for WiF! next show on June 28th, Bananastar Galactica, is a match between the 2 teams that claim that they are the CdP, The Pieces of Hate & Knight Eye for the Pirate Guy. We could get the whole CdP situation resolved between now & then.

Kinda deep thought here, but do you think that the wheels of the past year or so started way back in 2009 when the BDK arrived? Hell, could you say it started back in 2007, when Quackenbush went on the rampage trying to figure out who revealed the secret to reversing the Chikara Special?

It's roots could be traced all the way back to 2005 when Hero turned on Quack in the TGWP finals but I'd say the main story came together with BDK. The rest was the pre-show for lack of a better term. |

Was watching an AIW show last night. Amazing how great Tim Donst can be when he's being given a push and is over with the fans. Chikara weren't exactly the best at utilising his talents.
