BTW, Rudo Resurrection is nearing its end of funding and it's not looking too good. The game has only raised $18,510 of its $50,000 goal with 14 hours to go as of the time of this posting. And it has officially failed... |

There's been a couple of changes to "Quantum of Solace", as well as another match added.  Instead of battling The Throwbacks, AC/DC will now be facing Pieces of Hate  And The Throwbacks will now be facing The Submission Squad's Evan Gelistico & Gary the Barn Owl  Just added, Jaka will face Ophidian at "Quantum of Solace"  A new match has also been added to "Goldfinger", a 4 Corner Elimination Tag Team Match, with The Throwbacks vs. Tursas & Nokken of The BDK vs. AC/DC(Arik Cannon & Darin Corbin) vs. The Odditorium's Oliver Grimsley & Qefka the Quiet |

True, but none of those guys were mysteriously handsome, time traveling, marching band leading, mma enthusiasts. Did they ever explain how Archie could travel through time? I mean in Ashes, he uses the DeLorean to arrive with 3.0. But otherwise, it hasn't really been stated. Yeah, he gets hit by the Backfist to the Future, but what is it about that move? What causes the temporal phenomenon? Am I over thinking this way too much? We must learn the truth!!! I thought there was some explanation to the whole thing that said it was more a bunch of coincidences that made everyone think he was time traveling, but if that was the case, why was there briefly 2 Archies?! WHY HOW?!?!? |

I think it was on the old blog where they stated that Archie is just particularly predisposed to time travel, which I extrapolate to mean that he just has a looser connection to space-time than the rest of us. Back To The Future is canon in CHIKARA, since in his travels he encounters one of the villains from the third movie, and there's certainly a precedent for time travel in CHIKARA with the whole Lance Steel(s) thing. For those reasons I really don't think it's that odd or unreasonable to take Archie's claims at face value. As for why Kingston's backfist is the trigger, I think it's a play on the phrase "knock you into next week." With Archie being unfixed in time and Kingston being a pretty tough dude, I guess the force of the move provides enough kinetic energy for someone unfixed in time like Peck to become dislodged and displaced entirely. More importantly, though: that's a real bummer about Amasis... Both of those tag matches were what I was most looking forward to from next weekend's shows, but obviously given his history whatever time he needs to take off is for the best and completely understandable. Hopefully it's just personal stuff rather than an injury, but either way I hope things get better for him soon. |

I like that Matt Muzzy guy's style, maybe I'm being blinded by how clean his art is but I think the designs themselves are cool too.
