It looks like one of his fatalities is just straight up hacking his opponents to bits with his machete. Hopefully his second one is more creative.

You know I'm beginning to understand why they went with the remake look because there's a few fatalities that just wouldn't work on classic Jason. Sub-Zero and Kano's second, Erron Black and Cassie Cage's first, probably Cassie's Selfie fatality as well. Basically any fatality that doesn't involve Jason being dismembered. Or maybe I'm overthinking this. It's probably the same reason why they used remake Freddy in MK9. I'd bet it's just because that design is the "official" one right now or something. As for Jason's moves, I don't mind the armor since it's pretty faithful to how he's portrayed in the movies, but I could very easily see him being toned down in a patch once people get their hands on him. |

Speaking of Freddy though, I hope another DLC pack in the future brings him in. We were robbed of Freddy vs. Jason last time...needs to be fixed.
Plus, save for the combat training, Cassie fits the mold of one of Freddy's victims in an Elm Street movie.

I was more seeing if it resembled an actual character, as a little reference-nod that Netherealm does every now and then. Like how many of Freddy's moves and combos were named after lines from him in the movies. |

If it was based on anyone in particular they would have undoubtedly had to pay them for their likeness so I would guess it's just random slasher victim  |

Funny you should say that because due to a possible screwup on NRS end some people have Jason early and have posted video of one of his fatalities. Here's a gif if the video gets taken down.  |

Anyway, Jason looks like the gimmick char of the game. Crossup teleports, a move with infinite armour, a move that reverses the opponent's inputs, and he can be revived when he dies. Instant main.
