The little cutscene you get when one of your babies leave the island is absolutely adorable. I won't deny saying "awww" a few times and smiling throughout the whole thing.

someone visit my island ps: how do you visit other islands You personally don't visit other islands. When children born on your island are ready to leave home, you have the option of letting them move into an apartment, or to let them leave and travel the world. When they travel they'll go from island to island, taking your export item with them. Eventually they may come back to visit, but for the most part, they will travel forever. This only works for children that are born on your island, existing kids you put into the game won't work. It usually takes about 3 full days after they are born to be ready. |

ok, mine and roman's first born moved out 12 days ago and is still hanging out at the dock (because hes old enough to travel, we kicked him out. we took a vacation to space, and i came back pregnant. ugh. now the baby girl won't stop crying)
ANYWAYS.
i read by using streetpass is how you get other items imported, and your mii will travel. i updated streetpass, i have 316 miis, and nothing is happening.
aaaargh. this game....

You have to literally street pass someone else playing the game for your traveler to leave. They really need to incorporate Spot Pass for traveling. I'm street passing myself because I have 2 copies of the game, and an extra 2DS, so my travelers are bouncing back and forth between 2 islands. |
