I know some others on here are playing this, and I didn't wanna keep flooding the Nintendo thread with pics, and stories about this "game". It's just so unique, and wacky that even though it's more life sim than game, it's hard to put down. Managing the lives of Mii's, looking into their dreams to get items, giving them gifts that can help unlock new items. Helping them make friends, enemies, or lovers, it's just fun. You can visit other peoples islands, but only after a couple on yours has kids, and the kid gets old enough to go exploring. That's kind of a bummer, but it's still hard for me to put down... Here's a random pic I took.  So if anyone is playing or gonna play, this is the place to share your pics, stories, Etc. Should be fun. |

Two days in I got my first marriage: Chie Satonaka and Donald Glover tied the knot and went on a Honeymoon in Germany. The little proposal mini game you have to play before hand was hilarious.

I love how they call that one minigame football, when it's really sumo wrestling while wearing football uniforms. In the Japanese version, it is straight up sumo. I don't know why they'd think a western audience wouldn't at least have a rudimentary knowledge of sumo wrestling.

Anyone else pick up the official celebrity Miis that Nintendo is offering on the Tomodachi Life website? tomodachi.nintendo.com/Right now they have Christina Aguilera, Shaquille O'Neal, Debbie Ryan, Shaun White and Zendaya. (All of them come with exclusive outfits and room interiors) I got Shaq, Christina and Shaun as they are the only three I recognized. |

While this game is pretty out there, it's not too far removed from reality.
The other day I had Mr. Bean try to confess his love to Christina Aguilera by giving her a teddy bear and getting flat out rejected.
However karma was in play that day when Christina tried to confess her love to my Mii only to get rejected. My Mii is in a relationship with Princess Peach and I wanted to see what would happen. Oddly enough Peach didn't show up, but best friend Alison Brie did in order to try and win over my love. My Mii turned her down as well.
Man this game gives more then enough fuel to fan fiction writers everywhere.

In my game Chie and Donald Glover had their first kid, just like in real life getting the little spawn to try and shut the hell up proves just as difficult.
I also had my first major fight as Shaq and Christina Aguilera who just became sweethearts yesterday broke up today in the most cartoonishly violent way possible. Not even Mr. Bean could get them back together.
Also Joel McHale wedded Rosalina leaving Danny Pudi as the only major male cast member from Community without a mate. Which is weird as Abed already has experience with video game women.
