I just have to say that I love the title of this thread. Also, in that first pic Hawkins looks like the Fusion Dance version of Ryder & Ted Jr. and Yoshi looks like he's putting on deodorant. OMG Yoshi totally does! HAHAHAHAAHAHAH

WHY WWE MADE THE CUTS THAT THEY DID TODAY, HOW THE RELEASES WERE RECEIVED BY TALENT, IT LOOKS LIKE MORE TO COME by Dave Scherer @ 6:01 PM on 6/12/2014

Honestly, will anyone really care if Jinder and Drew were replaced in 3MB? Bands change members all the time! Hell, it could be a fun little storyline for Heath and Hornswaggle to hold auditions. Its not like Jinder or Drew said or did anything significant as part of the group.

It always amazes me when they want to cut salary, they release the guys who make the least. If you just cut 3 executives salary by 20%. Let's say those execs would be: John Laurinaitis, Triple H, and Stephanie McMahon. but nah, that makes too much sense. Firing the guy who has made NXT into a television-worthy brand to keep JTG and Yoshi Tatsu makes no sense at all. I mean, I mourn for Drew and Jinder. Hell, I weep for Drew and Jinder. But half of these people hadn't been on television in almost a year. Hell, some of them hadn't been on television in well OVER a year. Firing someone who actually makes a difference day in or day out to keep any of them on payroll would be completely asinine, in both a business sense and a logical sense.

Honestly, I think they just got too big. They opened pandora's box with the Attitude Era expectation that every show would feature the top guys. But they kept growing their roster. At one point, they decided to split just so they could feature the talent they already paid for, but they later killed that and, I'd wager, didn't cull the roster enough to justify no longer splitting everyone. Well, when you start running down the list of things the top guys have to do, you have less and less time to feature everyone else, and there's a lot of everyone else, so they either have to retrain audiences not to expect to see all the uppercard every show, or they need to cut the roster size down dramatically. This is especially true when you consider that they're still out there hiring people, and it's not to have a 6 month Florida vacation. There are ways around it that they never really bothered to do. Use those undercard guys to wrestle the top guys, or condense the uppercard guys' token appearances into a tag match. Do John Cena, Sheamus and Dolph Ziggler vs. Brodus Clay, JTG and Curt Hawkins, and not only do you get three undercard guys on TV, but you've gotten three uppercarders' "token appearances" out of the way They could've also rotated their undercard as well. Why does someone like Xavier Woods or Zack Ryder have to be jobbed out to hell, when a Yoshi Tatsu could fill in for them every few weeks or so? Oh, most definitely. They're absolutely terrible at utilizing talent. I think that has something to do with how they grew as well. They're beholden to ratings, so they put PPV matchups on TV regularly. So we get a Wyatts/Shield match as opposed to, say, Wyatts vs. Yoshi, Santino, and Ryder. Your way would also have the benefit of preventing matchups from getting as stale as a french fry that fell under a car seat. But they got too in the habit of doing huge matches every week for ratings.

WHY WWE MADE THE CUTS THAT THEY DID TODAY, HOW THE RELEASES WERE RECEIVED BY TALENT, IT LOOKS LIKE MORE TO COME by Dave Scherer @ 6:01 PM on 6/12/2014 Psychologically, this makes zero sense. They are not making the money they had hoped, which speaks more to a dissatisfaction, or a lack of connection, with their current product. Firing a dozen people who rarely, if ever, appear on TV, will save some money but it will not change, solve, or even help the current problem. It'd be like my doctor telling me that I don't get enough fiber in my diet, so I go home and clean the ice cream out of my fridge since it's unhealthy, despite the fact that I don't eat it. If the current product is not drawing the money, and the network is not gaining the viewership, then I start looking at the names appearing on TV the most.

Some of the talent that was let go could have been tagged together (as Sean Careless said) and beef up a weak tag division. All I can think of is
- Usos - Rowan/Harper
every other has been split

WWE have 7 hours of TV (Not Counting NXT or Total Divas) and yet they couldn't find time to do ANYTHING with alot of the talent they have or just let go.
I'm baffled
