How the f*** can they just destroy 3MB like that, one of their most successful acts? I hope Heath will still get time (maybe more time?) but if they were gonna do that I don't think they'd be getting rid of Jinder and Drew flat out.
f*** this sucks.

.......I wanna say the last time someone was released (Big Zeke) I mentioned that WWE's tactic seemed to be (a) let their contract run out, and/or (b) keep them off TV for so long that the audience basically doesn't even notice or care about them, thereby damaging/lessening their value to other companies. With the exception of Jinder and McIntyre, who were still very active on TV, everyone released today hadn't been seen on traditional WWE TV (not counting NXT/the internet shows) in a loooong time. That's a sneaky tactic that they just blasted all over the wrestling world today. so, they should use them a lot and then cut them, or they should cut them the second they don't have an idea for them, injuries and later inspiration be damned. And a contract running out isn't a release

Ok, here's the thing about WWE's stupid lower card philosophy. Not everyone is going to be a top guy. That's a given. The world needs wrestling's version of ditch diggers too. But WWE is a written and manufactured entertainment medium. So there absolutely should be something for EVERYONE to do, and everyone should have an identity, character or gimmick. No one should just be carted to the ring to lose in the most vanilla of fashions. There really was no excuse, say, if you have a Curt Hawkins on the roster, and are doing nothing with Zack Ryder, why you just don't team them up again. Do an odd couple tag team, like they looked to be building toward years ago when Zack started the online skits, and Curt just rolled his eyes.
Have Yoshi Tatsu sport the Muta-esque facepaint and have him stand out.
With Brodus, they did try everything admittedly. But I still thought there was midcard legs to him and Tensai as just a fun tag team.
I guess my point is, if you have writers, WRITE SOMETHING. If you're paying guys, USE THEM. Why bring anyone up, pay them, have them do nothing that benefits you or them as an investment, then just cut them loose?
WWE really needs to reevaluate their entire creative process. It's terrible.

Inevitable, they broke up The Shield, and Evolution is kinda sorta gone, in a way. So 3MB had no one to job to in 6 man matches.

I cannot believe they destroyed 3MB, who along with Torito have been my silver lining for post April WWE. I actually started watching Smackdown to see them. I hope Heath, Hornswoggle and Torito will still be featured.

MUHAHHA,
I turn on facebook and JTG is trending worldwide.
I don't wish unemployment on people, but that's hilarious that that's news.

Im not even a huge 3MB fan but why would you get rid of one of the few lower card comedy spots that actually work?

So I just looked in the Alumni section, and Brad Maddox is listed in there.... This worries me greatly. Was he put in there after he got fired as GM, or did he get added today?
Don't do me like this, WWE.

Honestly, I think they just got too big. They opened pandora's box with the Attitude Era expectation that every show would feature the top guys. But they kept growing their roster. At one point, they decided to split just so they could feature the talent they already paid for, but they later killed that and, I'd wager, didn't cull the roster enough to justify no longer splitting everyone. Well, when you start running down the list of things the top guys have to do, you have less and less time to feature everyone else, and there's a lot of everyone else, so they either have to retrain audiences not to expect to see all the uppercard every show, or they need to cut the roster size down dramatically. This is especially true when you consider that they're still out there hiring people, and it's not to have a 6 month Florida vacation.

That's the thing that really confuses me. If I were a WWE stockholder, I'd be very upset that the company wasn't maximizing every asset they had. Not saying give them all megapushes, but use them in some way that profits the company. And yeah, if Creative isn't able to come up with anything for these guys, well, there's not much "creative" in that office, is there? Love him or hate him, even Russo had *something* going for everyone on the roster.

It always amazes me when they want to cut salary, they release the guys who make the least.
If you just cut 3 executives salary by 20%. Let's say those execs would be: John Laurinaitis, Triple H, and Stephanie McMahon.
but nah, that makes too much sense.

JTG - Was rarely around anyway, Should have at least been a tag team champion back in the Cryme Time days, no real loss in all honesty
Drew McIntyre - Had huge potential, I remember back in the days of his big push he was the whipping boy of this forum, but I believe he could have been much more, hopefully do well in the indy scene, I think we could see him back in WWE eventually.
Jinder Mahal - Unpopular opinion but whatever, bring it on, I didn't care for 3MB, I'm sure Jinder will do well in the Indys
Aksana - Don't really know much about her truth be told
Curt Hawkins - The less popular Major Brother, Never really saw much of him as he rarely if ever appeared on Raw
Theodore Long - Liked him back in the early Smackdown days but he got stale later on, none the less he had a decent run.
Camacho - Who?
Brodus Clay - Another guy who could have been a lot more, the funkasaurus gimmick only really had a temporary lifespan, I would have liked to have seen more of his stuff as a heel.
Evan Bourne - Honestly thought he was gone along time ago, sucksm was always entertaining to watch
Yoshi Tatsu - I'll miss his theme the most
Marc Harris (referee) - No idea who he is.
Been awhile since we had some main Roster releases, guess we need room for more NXT guys to come up.

WWE has to know what they're doing to save JTG for last so dramatically too.

This is especially true when you consider that they're still out there hiring people, and it's not to have a 6 month Florida vacation. There are ways around it that they never really bothered to do. Use those undercard guys to wrestle the top guys, or condense the uppercard guys' token appearances into a tag match. Do John Cena, Sheamus and Dolph Ziggler vs. Brodus Clay, JTG and Curt Hawkins, and not only do you get three undercard guys on TV, but you've gotten three uppercarders' "token appearances" out of the way They could've also rotated their undercard as well. Why does someone like Xavier Woods or Zack Ryder have to be jobbed out to hell, when a Yoshi Tatsu could fill in for them every few weeks or so?
