Another thing - and it's sort of been mentioned - heels letting the crowd's booing and jeering get to them. They do their promo, the fans are booing and they just stop in the middle of it and go off on the crowd. I swear. During promos especially, faces and heels alike don't even act like there's a live crowd anymore. That's all Vince and Dunn. They used to get in RVD's case for paying "too much" attention to the crowd.

Pulling your arm back like you're going to backhand slap somebody who wants to slap hands with you.

The original Sandow gimmick involved a lot of complaining to the ref about closed fists. Loved it. Nothing makes the crowd want to boo more than a heel who stops and acknowledges the booing, yelling at them to stop.

We just need to get rid of Dunn and have Vince retire so we can get some of the classic heel mannerisms back. I feel as though any upcoming talent/heel should watch footage of Rude, Flair, Backlund, Owen, Pillman, and even Angle was a great heel when he first started out.

I love this kind of stuff but people usually complain when heels cheat and are constantly "Ugh, just let him work a match. Why is he cheating? He's a good wrestler let him go out there and wrestle this is stupid." Yeah, and that's part of the problem. For some reason, some people on the internet thinks every heel needs to be booked like Vader, when in fact heels are usually cowards and cheaters. But, if a heel cheated in a match, some people say how it made the heel "look weak." When a heel backs down from a fight, that's not them looking weak or scared, that's the being a coward. Sure, I love heels that are cheaters and assholes, but when they lose or cheat to win, I'm don't complain about it. That's how a heel is supposed to be booked. If someone cheated to beat Cena, people wouldn't praise the heel on his heel tactics, people would just complain about how the heel looks weak because he had to cheat. As for the topic, I would love to see a heel who's just impossible for the fans to like. Someone like Triple H in 1999/2000 is a good example.

Chris Jericho's foot-on-the-chest, muscle-flexing pin (yelling of 'come on baybay!' optional)
