Every time I've heard him on these, it's always one of two things: watching Superfly jump off the cage and the UT/Mankind HIAC match. That's litteraly the only two things he seems to remember. Stuff like that kinda makes me worry just how bad I Quit versus the Rock really was. Never watching that match again with what we know now, it's absolutely terrifying and makes me sick. As rough as that was, at least Mick looked to be somewhat absorbing impact by tensing up and sharing the initial force of the shots. What really disturbs me - and I mean more so than flying off the cell, or Shane dropping 40 feet - is seeing and hearing those horrible back bumps he took on CONCRETE from the ring apron and this is years after Vadar was powerbombing him outside the ring three times a week. He's both a hero and a complete f***ing idiot for what he's gone through.

The Monday Night Wars one was a little uncomfortable to watch at times with Hayes seeming to take stuff Biachoff did or said during the MNW very personal.

Dusty Rhodes has a gift for gab, which is his "bread and buttuh, if you weel". But the man just cannot stay on topic. I don't know how we end up hearing Dick Murdoch stories when we're not even discussing anything closely resembling "Captain Redneck".
And as for Jim Ross, when talking about Junkyard Dog, how about shutting up and letting Cowboy Bill Watts say a little more.

Foley is the worst on these shows. He has no stories that arent in his books and he just shoe horns them in totally changing the focus. Every time I've heard him on these, it's always one of two things: watching Superfly jump off the cage and the UT/Mankind HIAC match. That's litteraly the only two things he seems to remember. In the "Worst Gimmicks" episode he had to retell the Chili McFreeze story rather than actually call out a gimmick he thought sucked.

I enjoy the show as long as Flair isn't on it. I love hearing about old obscure wrestlers that I would probably never discover if not for the panelists talking about them.
I will say some of the clips they show are BORING, though. "Here's Haystacks Calhoun standing in the middle of a battle royal for awhile!"

This show made me like Mick Foley a lot less.

Flair almost ruined this show for me. He was absolutely the worst panelist they had on the show. He really came off as nothing more than a bitter old man

The Monday Night Wars one was a little uncomfortable to watch at times with Hayes seeming to take stuff Biachoff did or said during the MNW very personal. I saw that one and I believed Hayes gave Bischoff a hard time over a segment where the NWO made fun of Arn Anderson's farewell speech. In a later episode Kevin Nash was on the panel and that same incident came up and Hayes wasn't so bold that time. There was another episode were the Dr. Hiney sketch was talked about and Jim Ross mentioned how the sketch "was long like Gone with the Wind long." That's when subtitles appeared that explained to the viewers that Gone with the Wind was a movie that lasted nearly 4 hours. My intelligence has never been insulted that badly before.

It's a great show. But some of you are right, a lot of the time PS and other legends do take away from the conversations. My favorite panelists are Kevin Nash & Bockwinkel.

PS Hayes knows that Nash can have Rosa anytime that he wants so he doesn't mess with him.

Flair's a douche. Everytime he says something stupid you can see that the panel just can't be bothered to get into it with him because he'll start blading and humping the furniture.
He's stuck in the 80's. No one cares about the time he called his dick 'space mountain' and told a load of spring break girls to ride it all night long. No one's impressed that he was up all night getting them drunk and spreading his spunk and doing a slam dunk WOOOOOO NATURE BOY and quite frankly, no one likes him enough to help him realise that his pathetic attempt to cling on to that lifestyle is the reason he's lost all his money and destroyed all his relationships.

I love Ric Flair but he was clearly the worst panellist. He comes across as very arrogant, and like some of the other guys opinions don't even matter.
I wouldn't be surprised if Flair thought that Foley and Tazz didn't even deserve to breath the same air as him, nevermind share the spotlight with him.

The nature of wrestlers is that some of them DO NOT mix well for stuff like this.
You could probably get Samoa Joe and Punk and fill a 12 disc box set with stories, but take some legends who probably barely know each other on a personal level and who got to where they were by power of personality, and they'll probably trample over one another and not get even 10 minutes of orderly talking. Might be in part why stuff like this, they tend to do better alone or with one, maybe two close friends.

They couldnt have found better people than Tazz and Mick Foley for the Territories episode? Literally any of there normal panelists would have made more sense

I haven't watched a lot of these, but this show is one of the reasons I stopped liking Foley. The guy is just a mark for himself if there ever was one.

I think it is time to start filming new episodes, but with much better guests. Heyman and Dutch would be perfect for this show.

After watching the earliest half of the episodes on WWE Network, I finally came to the first one with Flair as a panelist. Wow.... the part where he glares across the table and demands for Tazz to admit that he had "been there" to be part of the Horsemen was uncomfortable. Then, he would just be talking in the background about himself or his crappy frat boy Horsemen stories when it's someone else's turn to speak.
My favorite panelists are undoubtedly Pat Patterson and Eric Bischoff. Patterson, because he's been part of WWE for so long that he has so many behind-the-curtain insights on just about any era of WWE. Bischoff, because he comes off as fair and honest even when other panelists are grilling him or insisting he's lying (Hayes) about something just because the truth doesn't align with the fantasies that Hayes has been entertaining all these years.

Tazz is good too. The modern wrestlers all seem to be good, much smarter and more able to separate business from real life. Using the panelists themselves as a scale it sort of goes FLAIR - SLAUGHTER - FOLEY - TAZZ - NASH in terms of marking for themselves and ruining the show.
Bischoff did so very well to remain calm, listen to all the bullshit being talked and respond in a very professional and impressive manner.

The Ric Flair grumpy old man episodes are my favourites. He must have got divorced that morning, or got slapped around my his daughters husband or something.
