I'm currently watching Clash of the Champions VII, and to my shock and interest, I hear Jim Ross announce that the Ding Dongs will make their debut tonight. The entrance was something to behold with very bizarre theme music they danced and jingled they're way to the ring, with bells strapped to their boots and a large bell connected to their tag corner ring post. I really don't want to spoil the antics as it should be witnessed . All I will tell you is that after the match, Jim Ross state's "that was horrible", I laughed quite hard at that comment and rewinded it along with closed captions to confirm what I heard from JR was correct, it was just as funny the second time around. I suggest one viewing just to feed your curiosity.... If any. Have a great weekend!

I have always wanted to see the original match of the Ding Dongs. I'll have to check that out later.

The theme is... something special. It sounds like opening credits music for a 70s comedy film or like it'd be on Wallace and Grommit.

I want to know who thought them ringing a bell during the match was a good idea His name was Jim Herd, and there's a reason he's not in the business anymore.

Haven't checked it out yet, but how did this idea not get laughed out of the room when Herd came up with it!?

Okay, having just found it on Youtube, their wacky theme is easily the only likable thing about the Ding Dongs.

Is their theme music the original or WWE version?

The Ding Dong's theme has a John Barry-esque chorus after a Wallace & Gromit meets Mr Bungle start.
Genuinely great song, awful theme for an awful gimmick idea, but a great song.

I'll always love how much the crowd cheers when their corner bell breaks. It's the only time in their match that the fans are happy.

Haven't checked it out yet, but how did this idea not get laughed out of the room when Herd came up with it!? Because it was a step up from Herd's original idea for the team...Wrestling Hunchbacks.

Okay, having just found it on Youtube, their wacky theme is easily the only likable thing about the Ding Dongs. That music made me irrationally happy.
