I think we all know about Wrestlemania 17 and Limp Bizket's "My Way" being left in , but are there any songs you are shocked that are still in. For me it's No Way out 2003 and Evanescence's "Bring me to Life" still being on it.

I was really shocked to see that Edge still had his Rob Zombie theme.

It seems like most WWE ppvs have their themes intact.

'We are the Champions' by Queen was on SNME when Bulldogs meet the Dream Team. Jesse identifies the song and artist by name.
I could see this being edited off. Maybe it's an oversight.

Limp Bizkit could probably really use the cash at this point. It's nice of WWE to put them in a position to get paid during this decade.

Something I found odd is that they dub over soundalike themes like DDP's, Ravens, Jericho, etc. but leave in the Road Warriors theme, which sounds almost identical to Iron Man.

It seems like most WWE ppvs have their themes intact. I wonder if that's due to how PPVs are licensed vs something like RAW.

Really strange since WWE left these themes in on many DVDs. On the first Nitro DVD they included a full music video for DDP using his 'Self High Five' theme that sounds like Nirvana. There really should be no legal problems with these themes as Jimmy Hart and his composer partner purposely changed the music just enough to be legal and they had no problems with the theme for years.

Maybe they don't wanna pay Jimmy? He did most of the WCW themes.

I don't know if I buy that as WWE Network plays a ton of other Jimmy Hart music from WWE (Honky Tonk Man, Legion of Doom, Superfly, Sexy Boy, Million Dollar Man) and WCW (Three Count, NWO Wolf Pack, Hogan's American Made).

I don't recall DDP or Raven's themes being on the WCW themes by Jimmy Hart iTunes album that WWE released a couple months back.

Never said it made sense, it seems such a bizarre choice otherwise.

Tonight I was surprised to hear Rush's "Where's My Thing" left intact during the recap at the very end of the 1992 Royal Rumble.
I remember a few mentions of it back in the WWE Network Edits thread. From what I understand, the version on the Network was originally the edited DVD anthology version but was changed to the original Coliseum Video edit.
Regardless, as a Rush fan familiar with that deep "Roll The Bones" b-side, it's pretty damn cool to hear it intact.
EDIT: Not the original Coliseum video edit but a combination of the PPV and Home Video versions. Thanks to chazraps and cjh later in the thread for their corrections.

I don't have a copy of the original VHS so I'm not 100% sure. However the version currently up on the Network has an "exclusive Coliseum Video interview" with Flair just before the Rumble match.
