This better have been like Batista telling Triple H why he didn't deserve a third title match with him. "You had the ownership, you lost. You had your appeal, you lost. You had a chance to go away quietly, you lost that in the first minute!"And then Sterling goes "Screw you!" Seriously, get lost.

Oh bullshit. They aren't better right now than 4 teams in the West. You're already planting seeds to bash Lebron in 10 months. Hmmm, I know San Antonio is one of those four. The other three would be Oklahoma, the Clippers, and... Houston? I dunno. I'd say, pending the Love trade going through, and the other "GM Lebron" free agency signings working out, that Cleveland is better than OKC, LAC, and Houston.

I'd say, pending the Love trade going through, and the other "GM Lebron" free agency signings working out, that Cleveland is better than OKC, LAC, and Houston. The other problem is that, Oklahoma City, the Clippers, and Houston all seem to have the same problem that the Indiana Pacers did, although now the argument for the Pacers this season is "Should they just mail it for the season?", which I'll get to. None of them really have had the experience to topple San Antonio because none of them have been able to defeat arguably the most disciplined team in the league. And, when they somehow did, they stumbled at the end. Now, back to the Pacers, I'm personally hoping that the Pacers might as well just mail it and go into tanking mode. While a valiant effort would be impressive, even heartwarming, most of the players here have short-term contracts and would rather play well just to improve their stock value (like Lance Stephenson did) than rally around a huge setback for the organization.

NBA fines the Toronto Raptors $25k for Drake making an appeal for Kevin Durant to join the team during a concert.
Uh. Unless Drake is employed by the Raptors in some way, this is really stupid. Also I somehow doubt that Durant will go to the Raptors because Drake wants him to.

Also I somehow doubt that Durant will go to the Raptors because Drake wants him to. Drake is an ambassador for the Raptors. So he still has a connection to the team however small it may be. Still somewhat stupid, though.

In spite of what I said about tanking, I am hoping the Pacers sign Shawn Marion instead of Cleveland.

No way they drop Drake.
He's buddies with several of the big name players(thus he does give them a tiny bit of appeal) and he is giving them better PR. Plus it is only a $25,000 fine. Drake probably wipes his ass with the amount of money.

Glad to see the rumors of the Kings trying to acquire Rondo via a trade today were disproved.
I don't like the idea of trading away assets for a one year rental. Unless he commits to resigning long term I don't want any part of Rondo.
