One of the things mentioned at the SDCC MLP panel was that the writers would be interested in doing a story involving AJ's parents, but don't know how to tackle this subject matter...


My suggestion would be to take the "Parents' Day" episode from "Hey Arnold!" as a possible pattern to base an episode on. With Apple Bloom in the Arnold role, Applejack and Big Macintosh in the Grandma Gertrude and Grandpa Phil role as well as Diamond Tiara in the Big Bob and Filthy Rich in the Helga role (felt that the switcheroo would make more sense to how their characters are portrayed in the show).

Man, that is getting close. Looks like it's a battle between Nikki's, Eunos's and Malcolm's teams for all the chocolates this season. By no means does that advocate draconian and confrontational team management in the case of the first two, but... can't argue with results.
