Hey, rules are rules. Nobody held a gun to his head and forced him to take E. Absolutely; break the rules and face the consequences. Doesn't mean I think it's a swell rule, though. Oh for sure. I don't like the rule that much either. I just have a hard time feeling sorry for these guys, for all the money and respect that they gain. I don't think it's a super-silly rule like "No socks after 9 pm or SEVEN YEARS DUNGEON!" or whatnot, he made a very bad decision. I wonder, when he says he didn't know it was a banned substance, does that mean he didn't know it was ecstasy, or that he didn't know ecstasy was banned?

Once again, I'd have suspended Ray Rice for 10 games.

I don't care what the drug is, if you're an NFL player and you fail a drug test you're a moron. Those tests are idiot proofed to the nth degree from what I can tell. Does anyone really believe that in the entirety of the NFL only a handful of guys(and no real marquee players)test positive and are suspended each year?

Question- who do you consider the most overrated positional player (i.e. non-QB) in the NFL?

If you are talking about a single player....Reggie Bush
A slightly above average Running Back and that's being generous. Puts the damn ball on the ground too much to be relied on.
Just for fun most underrated.
Paul Posluszny LB Jaguars. Seems like he's in on every damn play for them. Good in coverage too, if he played somewhere other than Jacksonville he'd be talked about like Bowman and Kuechly

Coach Mike Pettine insists the signing of Rex Grossman does not mean the Browns are shopping Brian Hoyer.
There's been a rumor going around that the Texans and Browns are talking Hoyer.
NFL writer Dan Pompei reports that some people inside the Cardinals organization believe Michael Floyd is "in for a big year" and will be Arizona's No. 1 wide receiver this season.

If they can get a Goodd Deal for Hoyer I would see what they can get, if they want to go All In on Manziel.
As for Floyd, Notre Dame Proud Baby!

In honor of that Cowboys player 'dancing with Molly', their defense should make their theme song "We Can't Stop (Opposing Offenses)".

Considering? f***ing considering? Toughening up the penalties for domestic violence seems like something that doesn't need consideration, it's just a no-brainer.

Per the report, a first offense would mean a 4-6 game suspension and a season-long ban for a second-time offender.

Saw that at a joint practice between the Raiders and the Cowboys, after a scuffle, a Raiders' fan swung and hit a Cowboys player with a souvenir helmet. The player then went after the fan before security stepped in.

For a second offense. So you can hit her once still. Yeesh. Baby steps. We're not going to get zero tolerance out of the gate, but the uproar means that we've got some reforms to get the ball rolling.
