If I knocked anyone out (forgetting my own fiancee), I'd be freaking out.
He didn't even care at all. That's some sociopathic shit right there.

The elevator video has been posted on TMZ. I warn you it is hard to watch. She didn't even touch him! Goodell's decision looks even worse, Rice should have been suspended for the entire season, and the second Ray Rice gets destroyed by a linebacker the place will erupt. This is absolutely disgusting. Ray Rice should be banned for life. If the Ravens are decent, they'll cut him. If what I'm about to say is against the rules, I apologize, but I feel like it's the truth: They need to find the meanest, roughest guy and let him seriously hurt Rice. Anyone that treats a woman like that is a coward and he absolutely deserves it.

I dunno, they sure kept cheering for Ray Lewis Although Lewis didn't have a video of him and his buddies stabbing two guys, so there's always doubt. Rice doesn't even have doubt. True. Lewis...I feel like deep down even his/The Ravens biggest supporters knew, but without the smoking gun, could claim denial. Ray Rice basically threw a Tyson style punch and now the whole world saw/will see it. He's a f***ing coward and I can't imagine that he's very popular among his peers anymore Lewis' entourage killed a couple goons who picked a fight with him. Rice out-and-out attacked another person for no particular reason. Evidence against Lewis was shaky, whereas evidence against Rice is indisputable. The two are apples and oranges. I'm a Ravens fan. I live just outside the city proper. Rice was really unpopular with locals up to today. This being before the video became publicly accessible. I don't think it's going to be getting any better for him any time soon. A lot of fans want to see him get cut. The problem with cutting Rice is that we gave him a big contract that will cost us a ton of money unless we wait until the end of this season before letting him go. What's most likely is that he's going to spend his entire season on the bench.

I personally think he's guilty of obstruction and possibly something else, but the murder part has always been shaky. Rice should never see another down in the league, but you and I both know that if the Ravens do get rid of him one way or the other, *someone* will pick him up.

It's been nearly four months and that Tweet still lingers on the Ravens' official Twitter page, just reminding the world how callous and unsympathetic they, and the NFL, have been in the aftermath of this incident.

I want to take a moment in the middle of all of the well deserved Ray Rice hate to say this: The guy on the receiving end of this Antonio Brown with the running big boot! tweeted a pic of the incident tagged with the following: "Wait! Wait! When did this happen?" Okay, feel free to go back to hating on Rice. I'll join you.

Although it's not like a Mike Vick scenario where Vick still offered something. Ray Rice is almost totally washed up as a player. Most second or even third RBs are at his level or better. The negative publicity vastly outweighs any potential value he has as a player. And yet, I don't really doubt you. There are some organizations that have management so stupid as to think it's worth it. This is the league where a punter was drafted in the third round.

If I were a player I wouldn't want to even look at him, never mind trying to share a locker room with him. Some things are more important than football. I understand what you're saying but I'm sure a lot of Penn State fans were thinking similarly a few years ago.

If I were Baltimore, I would have cut him 2 hours ago. From a public perception/PR standpoint, it's worth the money they'd lose out on

Actually, I don't know a single friend or family member who wants him on this team anymore. I'm just pointing out that the organization is calculating the risks on this, because if they cut him and take the cap hit, fans at the end of the season are going to bitch that we messed up because we cut Rice and lost the money. It's a lose-lose scenario, but yes. I agree that making an example out of him is a superior option to protecting his stinking carcass.

The Colts blew a bunch of opportunities last night to steal a victory, and I know that 4th and inches at the goalline is going to haunt them for the rest of the season, which Andrew Luck called "a stupid decision".
However, I have to give them effort for coming back from 24-0.
And... Ray Rice is an asshole to end all assholes. Everything that most people feared had happened did.

Regarding the Colts, at what point do we start saying "maybe the Colts aren't that good and are division winners b/c the division is that bad?" It seems like every game the Colts are behind and Luck brings them back to win it, when in fact he plays a huge role in why they're losing in the first place.

Luck had a really good night, his stat line looks like crap because both of his picks came off of bad catches by his receivers.

Personally, I think Forsett is better than Rice. At least he's a team player who doesn't hit women.
Honestly keeping Rice will only hurt them in the end, his career should be over.

And my Bengals beat the Ravens. I know it means nothing in the realm of punishing Rice, but I hope the Ravens get nothing but bad things from here on out.

So the league is saying they didn't see the video. Even though it was reported in July that they had additional footage not released to the public. So either Goodell is lying to cover his ass or TMZ just out scooped the biggest sports league in the world.

I just looked at Rice's contract....man the Ravens really screwed the pooch on that one.
He only gets 3M per year salary, which is not guaranteed and doesn't hurt against the cap.
Problem is between that rediculous signing bonus and his other bonuses it's 4.5 million against the cap each year.
So if they cut him this year it's 4.5 million in dead money for this year and 2 more years. Not a good contract.
