Kaz Matsui has been traded to the colorado rockies for Eli Marerro. The rockies optioned Kaz to AAA colorado Springs.
Worse signing ever is now gone. Met fans rejoice!

I sort of feel a little bad. You know, Kaz raped the Mets for alot of money but he always tried hard. Had he been a 350k player, it would of been a different story. The effort always was there. The results sucked.

Dammit....I'm a Phillies fan, and Kaz was always our ace in the hole against the Mets. He was like a double agent. I think I saw him give a little fist pump and "Go Phils" after a Jimmy Rollins single went by him once.

So today was a good baseball day for me and a coworker.
He was excited to get rid of Matsui, who he, like most Mets fans here, think of the guy as one of the worst possible players.
I, on the other hand, am extatic Cleveland just designated Scott Saurbeck for assignment. The guy was practically worthless, both on and off the field. Hopefully Perez will be decent in his place.

The guy's an Opening Day Hall of Famer and nothing for the other 161 games. So overhyped it's frightening.
