I no longer have my VCR anymore ? Anyways I was wondering if anybody could help me and tell me is a DVD Recorder worth the money. I mean I use to tape RAW, Smackdown Impact ETC. Also how much are the DVD-R's are whatever and how long can you record on them. Can you re-record over them etc. Thanks

If you don't have Tivo or OnDemand or some other cable service that you pay for monthly, they are definitely worth the money, because they have really come down in price lately.

My roomate had a pretty decend DVD-R. I think it was a Chanhong or something. I think its pretty cheep too.
You can record and re-record over the discs as long as you don't finish the disc. So as long as the disc is in the machine you can record on it, delete shows, and record again. It was pretty cool.
