Ahhh Public Domain movies, in other words, these are the low budget, sometimes cheesy movies that the copyright has run out on, and you find on dvd for a dollar. classics like Jesse James meets Frankensteins Daughter, and Memorial Valley Massacre. these are my fave types of movies, no big special effects, just cheap production ;D I found a pack of 50 movies for only $20 about a week ago, mainly old horror movies-cool stuff, anyone else like these types of movies? any faves in particular?

I also found some Roddy Piper movies in some stores with those, but never got them. Also, some animated 3 Stooges cartoons.

I always check those bargain bins at Wal-Mart, though now they put em right next to the cash registers. I bought a few dvds of old tv shows like Burns and Allen and You Bet Your Life. They also have a few of my mom's favorite western, Bonanza.

There are, of course, some non-cheesy and downright great PD films. My Man Godfrey (one of the greatest screwball comedies ever) or Carnival of Souls (one of the damn weirdest art/horror flicks) for example.
But, yeah, the cheesy ones are always fun. Who doesn't love Reefer Madness or the many films of one Edward D. Wood? Plan Nine from Outer Space, anyone? ;D
