Just a rambling brainstorm idea, does anybody think it would be worth it for an indy promotion to pay a rights fee (similar to an infomercial) to buy time on the WWE Network to get their show aired.
I know there are a lot of factors to be considered, but thought it might be a fun topic to discuss.

Won't happen, I don't think any indy would touch mainstream TV with a bargepole, let alone the WWE Network which right now is struggling, Indy promotions get just as many (if not more) viewers and followers on iPPV/YouTube and on Twitter (plus those who buy DVDs/On Demand services), there is a huge demand for live wrestling and they do quite well off iPPV DVD/Merch/ticket sales, plus the fact WWE are going out of their way to block any promotion doing a show in San Francisco for Wrestlemania Weekend sums up their feelings regarding independent wrestling.

Not only do they need to make enough money to pay their talents/production crews and book their future venues, but they have to make whatever the cost is for the slot on the network, so that puts unneeded pressure on them. I'd rather see indy promotions succeed and become popular on their own right than put themselves under Vince's thumb.

WWE would insist on control, thus ending their indie status.

I've heard that idea brought up before and it's worth a thought. Indie talent gets exposure, WWE gets content. There are drawbacks though.
