If it's legit, then it's glorified slavery and you're an asshole for doing it (and possibly a criminal). If it's a scam, you're an asshole for trying to do it AND a moron for falling for it.
So yeah, I would definitely do it. What could possibly go wrong?

More than likely just wanted a way into Canada and he was the schmuck providing it From what I've read a good percentage of mail order brides tend to do this which sort gives the impression that these women see that having to spend a couple of years with some western loser pig is small price to pay in order to escape whatever shithole they are living in. |

Whenever I'm being served by a clerk (usually at a family owned store or deli) who came to America from a former Eastern Bloc country, they don't necessarily flirt with me but act really friendly towards me (so basically coming as close to flirting without actually doing so). So I just imagine they were resigned to a life as a mail order bride back in the old country, but then they were saved from that when they are able to make it to America by means other than being a mail order bride (like say, a small business ownership opportunity) and just transfer whatever flirting skills they would have used to seduce men to pick them to be their mail order bride to instead put money in the tip jar at the deli counter.
