I guess I'd like to know what footage is within that 25 percent, how much of it is already on the Network and how long it takes to digitize even one percent of footage. Basically, too many questions for me to judge just yet.
And I totally understand what some of you are saying about adding a little bit of AWA, World Class and other older footage. But if digitizing takes so much time and you absolutely must put out little little, it also comes down to this: Do you put out small samples of every single product, or do you put out more-complete samples of just a few products? On the one hand, WWE should try to appeal to all audiences. On the other, it needs to appeal to its main demographic.
Basically, WWE is in a no-win situation.

i think the network could benefit from some sort of viewing guide. y'know, "if you want to see the key parts of the hogan/andre feud, watch these shows." It would help the incredible amount of content come off as a lot less daunting. release a new one every few weeks or something. i also think the live stream could benefit from a chat. it'd give slightly more reason to tune in live than at least That first idea would be a nice addition. Maybe make the search function worth a damn would be nice. The second one.......LOL hell no. Could you imagine the trainwreck that would be. Give a bunch of youtube commenters a real time platform to tell everyone how to run a wrestling company and non stop Cena arguments. That would at one time be one of the most hideous and comical things ever.

According to WWE, only about 25 percent of their library has been 'digitized' in order to be put on the Network. See, that's what I don't get. Why did WWE wait so long to start digitizing their library? I get that they didn't originally plan for WWE Network to be a VOD service and they'd still have to edit and add captions, but they could've been starting it years ago. As a guy who has digitized for a living it takes a lot of time, especially if you are trying to clean stuff up and if the tapes/film came in horrible shape. I once worked on a documentary that was on five different formats and about 120 hours of footage that kept me busy for about 3 months.

I love the WWE Network and it's well worth the 10 bucks even without the PPVs each month (although that is how I justify the expense to the wife). The one thing it is lacking is a simple guide to the library. The search function simply doesn't cut it. Just highlight the careers of say, 100-150 wrestlers. Andre, Hogan, Flair, Hennig, etc. and give us some breakdown outlines of what to watch for certain feuds. Also, I'd like to see them start putting uncut editions of 1987-1990 Wrestling Challenge and Superstars. Some of the key moments leading up to the Wrestlemania feuds (Hogan/Andre, Piper/Adonis, etc.) happened on those shows. I'd also like to see collections of the in-show interview segments - Brother Love, Funeral Parlor, Pipers Pit, Barber Shoppe.
